Description

The 9th annual Shoalhaven Coast Winter Wine Festival will be held on the June long weekend (9-11 June 2012).
The website for the event provides all the details and winery locations.
apalie provides the perfect base for those wishing to experience this event, being located 10-30 minutes from the 'southern' wineries (Bawley Vale Estate, Fern Gully Winery and Cupitt's Winery). Most of the other wineries are located on the route south from Sydney, so can be visited during a leisurely drive home on Monday for Sydney visitors.
So grab a group of friends, head off on a 'roadtrip' to the beautiful Shoalhaven, and discover the sensationational food, wine and events on offer.

Originally a timber joinery, apalie is now a bright open plan holiday home featuring a huge double height communal area with loft bedrooms at each end and a galley kitchen.
The property has recently been renovated, with fresh paint and many brand new inclusions.
We also have WiFi and an Espresso Machine!
A bunk room, two bathrooms and a huge deck complete the floor plan.
The large yard area is fully fenced and suitable for well behaved pets (allowed only on application and strictly outside).
Pets are allowed on the beach only if they are on a leash. A sign on the beach track illustrates areas where pets are permitted. Pets are not permitted in Meroo National Park.

apalie is suitable to accommodate two family groups, but equally suited to couples or a larger family.

The 6 people noted elsewhere refers to the toal number of adults permitted

LOFT BEDROOMS (2):
Beach Loft: North aspect, Queen bed, coastal themed furnishings.
Oriental Loft: South aspect, Queen bed, Asian themed furnishings.
Beds have deep mattress toppers, egyptian cotton sheets, high quality pillows, doonas and covers.

BUNK ROOM:
Two double bunks and trundle, sleeps 5
High quality sheets, pillows doonas and covers on all beds

All bedding and towels are supplied at no extra cost.

Location

Lake Tabourie is located 10 minutes south of Ulladulla, an easy 3 hour drive from Sydney's southern suburbs and 2.5 hours from Canberra.
The lake is a 45 second stroll from the front door, and provides excellent fishing and kayaking oppotunities.
The beach is a further 5 minute amble along a bush track that follows the shoreline of the lake.
There unfolds a breathtaking unspoilt beach, extending north to Wairo Beach and south to Meroo Beach, with Crampton Island directly in front. The island can be accessed at low tide via a sand spit and is a joy to explore.

apalie's policies

No smoking
Pets are to remain outside at all times - no exceptions
No parties, weddings, schoolies, large groups of singles or chaotic behaviour of any kind. The location is a quiet residential villiage, so please respect our neighbours.
Cleaning fee of $100 payable at time of booking. This is to cover reasonable cleaning expenses. If excessive cleaning is required, the cost will be deducted fom the bond.
Bond of $1000 is payable 1 week prior to check in. Bond is fully refundable provided apalie policies have not been breached and there has been no damage to the house, its gardens or its contents.
