This 112 year old seaside home is a delightful, eco friendly and heritage listed stone cottage. Situated within a short walk to Fremantle's vibrant night life with, pubs, restaurants, boutique breweries, beaches, sailing club's and the wharf precinct. The cottage is located in a quiet street on the high ridge above the sea. It is a relaxing environment to enjoy with ocean views. Open the French doors for indoor/outdoor living. A secluded rear garden with fishponds and out door living area provides the perfect environment to relax and entertain. The table extends to seat up to 8 people. The house is fully equipped with a queen bed in the main bedroom and two king singles in the other. Lounge has a comfortable new double sofa bed. Baby cot and high chair are available. Recently renovated kitchen and bathroom with European appliances including dish washer and microwave. All quality kitchen ware. Other features include: reverse cycle air conditioning, LCD television, DVD/Sound system, board games, extensive library and a range of in house movies for all ages. Free wireless internet.
Our commitment to the environment
We have proudly installed a solar PV system on the roof which produce all the power needed to run the cottage. It is insulated to reduce the need for air conditioning and perfectly orientated to catch the sea breeze.
There are composting facilities also if you like to recycle the green waste, tea bags and paper. The worms will love it.
Fremantle city council provide a recycling bin for all types of recyclables. We appreciate if you use it.
Our commitment to your health
The cottage is cleaned using non chemical cleaners and suit people with chemical sensitivities. All floors are timber and finished with low emission varnish. There are no heavy curtains or dust collecting rugs. All bedding are hypo allergenic and sheeting all 100% cotton.
Organic vegetable gardens provide a homely experience and guest are given produce to try in season.
