Mount Ophir Estate

Description

Mount Ophir Estate provides different types of accommodation catering to different budgets. We are a Natural Trust, Heritage Vic listed property and working farm and producing organic wines and farm produce, available for purchase.
Our property was formerly the largest state of the art winery in the world with the one and only French Provincial Tower in Australia.
We have beautiful seasonal roses and blossoms. There is always something interesting to see and do. The bird life is abundant and you might even catch us milking the cow, feeding the Emus, Ducks and Hens.

People tell us this is exactly what I remember of my grandmother's or words to that effect.

Produce

All our farm produce is available for purchase at our cellar door.
Our wines are typical "Great Rutherglen Reds", big wines for hearty meals.
We make Emu soup and creams. Our jams are made from our own orchards and are too many to list here. We have seasonal nuts and fresh fruit.

Availability

We still have accommodation available for the Easter Weekend.

The exclusive Tower Suite is still available for Easter.

You may also avail your-self of a relaxational massage in the old spa house.

One booking for Easter has been cancelled so we now have a self contained house available.
