Description

Overlooking the peaceful waters of Days Gutter, Kooringal house has it all. Situated in the settlement of Kooringal on the southern end of Moreton Island this is the perfect spot for a great and memorable holiday. "Kooringal" is a highset house on the waterfront of Days Gutter with a massive deck where you can watch the sun go down over your boat in the afternoon or just relax catching the cool island breezes. The large grassed area at the front of the house is ideal for a game of volleyball or badminton or you may prefer to wander across the track for a swim or a fish in the calm water.


Thirty five kilometers of ocean beach is only a 15 minute drive though sand tracks where you can fish, swim or surf in the spectacular uncrowded eastern surf beaches of Moreton Island. Visit spectacular Cape Moreton where in the right seasons you see the whales, dolphins , sharks and turtles.

Please Note: Kooringal is a family house and not suitable for groups of fishermen etc.

Eco Friendly House

Our house is fully self sustaining as there is no grid power, town water or council sewerage on Moreton Island. Kooringal has all the facilities of a normal house however because of this Kooringal is a little special as you have to watch power and water usage and what goes into the toilet.
