Description
Bicheno Bella Vista is conveniently located in the heart of Bicheno on Tasmania's beautiful East Coast. The villa is close to all attractions and has some of the best views on the coast. If you like fishing, bush-walking, kayaking, golf, tennis, diving, pristine beaches, surf or fairy penguins - this is the place for you! Little penguins come to shore on the foreshore right in front of the villa. A great location, opposite Waub's Beach and just 5 minutes walk from the township with restaurants, bakery, cafes, shops, hotels and amenities.
Iconic Redbill Beach and Diamond Island are a 10 minute walk away. The villa is just over the road from the Sea Life Centre and beautiful Waubs Bay.
Things to do
There really is something for everyone in and around Bicheno.
The Bicheno Golf Club is a flat, but challenging 9 hole, par 36 course in a beautiful setting. In the town centre (5 minutes walk) there are tennis courts which can be hired. Kayaks and bicycles can also be hired in the town.
Fishing tours and scuba diving are available. There is great snorkelling in Waub's Bay. The views from the villa are spectacular. Whales have often been sighted in Waub's Bay during their annual migration.
Little penguins have burrows on the foreshore right in front of the villa.
The Villa
Bicheno Bella Vista is fully self-contained and well equipped with modern cooking and laundry facilities:
dishwasher, microwave, sandwich toaster, electric fry-pan, washing machine and clothes line, 4 burner gas barbeque, ironing board and iron, generous provision of crockery, cutlery, glasses and cookware, stocked spice rack, coffee plunger, Austar TV, magazines and books, CD and DVD players and children's toys and games.
The villa has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has comfortable twin beds. Both bedrooms have built in wardrobes. All linen is provided.
There is a sofa bed in the lounge, which can be used by arrangement.
The roof terrace at Bicheno Bella Vista is a real feature and has spectacular views over Waub's Bay and along the coast to Diamond Island and beyond. Waub's Bay is renowned for diving and snorkelling.
