Description
Woodside Cottage is located at the end of a secluded tree-lined driveway overlooking an acre of classic woodland garden. Enjoy a view of colourful rhododendrons, cedars, azaleas, over 50 camellias, magnolias, and more than a 1000 bulbs including daffodils, tulips and irises. The cottage is only a few minutes stroll to the heart of the village but feels like it is miles from anywhere, and is far enough from the railway line for a peaceful night's sleep. Pet owners please note that due to the many kangaroos, wombats and echidnas in the area there is no fencing between properties.
Amenities
The freshly painted cottage has 3 cosy bedrooms; the main with queen size bed and the other 2 bedrooms each have a double bed. All 3 beds have electric blankets. The 3 seater sofa also converts into a bed. There is a cot available. You'll love the living room which has a wood heater for winter warmth and a reverse cycle airconditioner for summer comfort. The cottage has an HD DVD/TV in the living room with lots of DVDs provided. There is a kitchen, a toilet and a bathroom with separate shower and bath. You can rest on the north facing balcony and catch the sun or relax out the back in the covered entertaining area with natural gas BBQ and admire the century old gum trees.
The ideal short break destination
Bundanoon offers everyone a wide choice of activities. Morton National Park is famous for its bushwalks and views of the escarpment. Each of the nearby villages has a range of markets, cafes, wineries and shops to explore. If you wish you can choose to simply stay put and relax in the garden or by the log fire.
Please note: Thu/Fri and Sat/Sun are priced at the weekend rate.
Long weekends are a 3 night minimum and Easter is a 4 night minimum.
