Squeaking Point is a quiet little village situated on the Western shore of the magnificent Rubicon River estuary in North West Tasmania. Rubicon River Hideaway is only a 15 minute drive from the Spirit of Tasmania ferry terminal and the Devonport Airport. A five minute drive will find you at the nearby townships of Port Sorell and Shearwater.
The area boasts 2 golf courses within 5 minutes, great fishing and boating, golden beaches, winery and Narawntapu National Park.
Squeaking Point boasts a great boat ramp and jetty. A large variety of fish are caught in the estuary. The area is also very popular with sail boarders, water skiers and kayakers.
The location is also very central to many other popular attractions such as Cradle Mountain and the Tamar Valley wine region.

For the animal lovers a fabulous day trip option,only 50 minutes car trip from Squeaking Point to Gunns Plains will have you knee deep in animals at Wings Wildlife Park. This awesome park offers the ultimate animal experience.
