Located at Dysart, 40k north of Hobart, it is within easy driving distance to the City, the Museum of Modern Art, many local, and award winning wineries and Heritage towns.
It is perfect for a couple wanting to retreat for a few days, or take some friends, and just getaway from it all!
With two king size bedrooms and one queen size bedroom you will all be very comfortable, and return home refreshed from your stay at the peaceful Valley Retreat!

Great modern house, clean and comfortable. Nice surrounds, friendly cows. All mod cons, including nespresso! Great place to sit and relax and do nothing. Very friendly owners too. Bit of a drive to local towns, but not too bad.

We had such a relaxing stay at valley retreat. It was so luxurious and we felt very spoilt. Anne was so helpful during and after our stay as it was during the bush fires in Tasmania. I can highly recommend this accommodation. Thank you for your generous and warm hospitality. We will be back!

If you like serenity, amazing views and are looking for a place that is peaceful and relaxing, then this is the place for you. Add to this a great nights sleep from quality bedding, then you can be guaranteed that you will leave feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. Our family did!

We wish we stayed here for much longer and instead of the other place! The place is even nicer than the pictures and everything is just so serene and perfect. Anne was so lovely to accommodate us... will definitely stay here again when in Tassie! The 40 min drive to Hobart was the only downer but it was an easy drive and the place was worth it. Thank you!

Valley retreat is located just off the Midland Hwy and an easy 40 minute drive into Hobart. We stayed 2 nights here at the end of a 2 week holiday in tasmania. It is aptly named as a Retreat as it offers peaceful and private views of the area through the full length wall of windows and decking off the bedrooom and living areas.
We were very impressed by the quality of the furnishings, decor and cleanliness of the place. A delightful breakfast basket was waiting for us in the fridge with ample provisions.
Although we did not meet them in person the owners went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and everything was satisfactory for our stay.
The only thing that kept it from it being 5 star for me was the lack of a dishwasher. But that is very minor and we would be more than happy to return again.
