Description
Kite Tails and Sand Pails is a cute newly renovated cottage close to the beach and bowling club in beautiful Currarong catering to families and couples alike.
The cottage is fully equipped with everything needed to have that relaxing break you deserve!
Enjoy your time away with all the trimmings including a flat screen TV, DVD player and surround sound system. The two bedrooms come with a queen size bed in each.
Inside the cottage there is a daybed as well as a fold out sofa bed allowing you a choice of where to laze and relax. There is also a port-a-cot available for use, should you need it. There is a small library of books, games, movies and Playstation 2 console and games to keep a multitude of personalities entertained, and that's without even making it outside!
For those chilly days and nights, there is a gas heater and lots of squishy warm blankets.
Outside there is a lovely enclosed deck area with a fully equipped BBQ as well as an outdoor lounge and dining area. In the enclosed yard there is a fire pit for those chilly afternoons and evenings, a hammock to while away the hours and even swing set for the kids.
Who wants to cook? Our kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of cookware, glassware, plates and servery and no-one has to wash up with the dishwasher on-hand! Need a coffee? We have a high quality pod coffee machine serving Lavazza coffee.
At Kite Tails and Sand Pails you can relax with your loved ones and take time out in a special piece of paradise.
Local Attractions and Location
Currarong has absolutely beautiful pristine beaches. Kite Tails and Sand Pails is within walking distance to two gorgeous beaches that provide safe swimming areas for kids. You can also walk to The Rock Pool which is a naturally formed tidal rock pool with sandy bottom.
There are kilometres of walking tracks which can take you on short jaunts or longer (easy) treks around the stunning headland, onto high cliffs, to secluded little beaches, rock platforms or to shipwrecks. Currarong is also excellent for cycling, diving, snorkelling, sea kayaking, fishing, surfing and relaxing!!
Currarong is within close proximity to other stunning locations within the Jervis Bay area including Honeymoon Bay, the Lighthouse, Callala and Culburra beaches. If you are lucky, you could spot a dolphin or a whale, otherwise, fishing spots are easy to come by.
Currarong is located 2.5hrs from Sydney, 3hrs from Canberra and 20min east of Nowra.
Family Favourites
We cater to families and are happy for you to take advantage of all the sleeping spaces available to sleep your family while staying with us (we are a family with five children and even though the house only has two bedrooms, we find the space more than enough with our tribe). Everyone is welcome and children are more than catered for with plenty to keep them entertained and stress free, so you can enjoy your time away together.
If you are without children, you will still find our space to be serene, cosy and comfortable. Your four legged friends are welcome but we ask that you leave the house the same way you found it. We also ask that if you are a smoker that you smoke outside and dispose of all rubbish in the bins provided.
