It must be one of the most beautiful places in Australia ! We came here on holiday some years ago and stayed - as have many other people. Just 30 minutes drive to Dorrigo;s Heritage rain forest tree top walk, 15 minutes to pristine beaches, surf or calm, river sports - ie canoeing, Dragon boat races etc, or just relaxing lazy paddles on the river, skiing, fishing, climbing, golf, walking, photography, or just laze - sip coffee while playing chess with locals, or just chat in our unique coffee houses, browse fashion boutiques and antique collectables in old style village shops, or just chill out and read a book, under a tree in our lovely rainforest garden here at our home where you will have your own entrance. spacious private suite fans, TV/DVD, ex Queen bed, books, music, magazines, cereal , fridge, nibblies - fruit and continental breakfast provided. We offer a spacious, luxury Queen bed suite - fans, TV/DVD .Valley views from pvte balcony,own entrance, flat driveway, good parking, aprox 10 mins walk to village. All this in our lovely eclectic style home surrounded by lush rain forest gardens - lots of quiet spaces to sit. Wonderful energy to replenish the soul or just enjoy being lazy, but plenty to do if you are the outdoor type - 15 mins drive to Urunga Waters, Mylestom Beach, Dorrigo heritage rain forest tree walk, canoeing, swimming in our beautiful river, or visit "The Promised Land" just minutes away, (take your camera, the scenery is amazing. ) Bellingen really is unique, with it's historic village atmosphere, and listed heritage buildings, huge markets where artisans sell their one -of wares on the third Sat each month, gourmet cafes, ( great coffee!) and award winning restaurants. Enjoy a cool drink on the balcony of the historic Federation Hotel in the evening, listening to live Jazz, meet the locals then walk back to TOUCHWOOD. and watch the sun rise from your balcony.
This is a relaxing half way stopover Sydney/Brisbane, just 30 mins to Coffs Hbr, 3 hrs drive to Byron Bay. So many possibilities ! Come see for yourself... a warm welcome assured from Adele and Dennis, your hosts.

What else can I say ? This is a lovely , spacious suite , well equipped , with valley views thru the trees from your own private balcony, in a rather unique house, located in a beautiful green rain forest area close to Bellingen Village and the many varied activities that and the surrounding districts have to offer.
Touchwood is a lovely, convenient , comfortable and interestingly different BnB in a historic Village.

So much to do here, no matter what your inclination may be, or just a relaxing halfway North/South stopover close to all the above amenities.
