On the Beach has just been newly relisted after being off the holiday market since last year, so there is now availability for this perennial Culburra favourite.

The back yard hits the dunes and the back gate is on the easy 1 minute beach track to sea. No climbing from this With sea views from the living area, 2 main bedrooms and the outdoor day-bed and lounges, and fire to keep the whole place warm and cosy.

It is also only one house from the lake as well so you can surf, swim, fish, canoe, go boating or walk on the beach.

There is a place to park a tinny, and even a caravan, with everything you need to fully hook up a caravan out the back.

Sunrise and Sunset over the sea from here are both stunning - you can snuggle on the lounge inside with the fire on, or on the day bed with cushions and blankets listening to the waves break and watching the sky and ocean colours change. The moon rise is also spectacular.

We have really tried to think of all the things that have mattered to us in our years looking for the perfect beach holiday with friends and family and put it together here. A relaxed and casual beach house that feels like a beach house, yet with quality and attention to detail in all the places that count.

The Area

The sand and dunes starts at the back gate, only a few steps to the ocean- and the beach stretches on forever, the lake is spitting distance, just one house to the right, and Culburra itself remains true to its origins -despite being a firm favourite for holiday makers.

Two beaches which have been voted Australias very best both in easy reach. Or you can just make full use of the kilometres of beach right in front of you.

There is a great break right out in front in the right conditions, but it is a lovely quiet beach - even in peak season. There is a patrolled beach and protected cove very close by for those who want that also.

The lake is perfect for boating - it is a protected area backing on to national park and there is an abundance of wildlife, including some which are endangered. We provide information about all this for you when you arrive in case you are interested.

Fresh local seafood, a good coffee, award winning restaurant, and everything you will need for a bbq or something more elaborate are in easy reach, but it still feels like the laid back beach town of years gone by. Even the drive into Culburra from Nowra lifts the spirit.

We will do everything we can to make your holiday just the way you want it. Early check-in and late check-outs are always offered if there is availability to give you maximum bliss for your buck.

Culburra is only a two and a half hour drive from Sydney and about 3 hours from Canberra.
