Swamp Cottage was built circa 1907 and has been extensively renovated to provide a charming property that sleeps 5. Quality beds are provided for your comfort. Master bedroom has QS. 2nd Bedroom has a single and a set of Bunks. Bathroom has a toilet, bath and separate shower. The lounge/dining/kitchen is a modern open living space that opens onto a deck with outdoor seating. Very private back yard. Central heating ensures a warm cosy stay. Off Street parking is provided via access lane at rear of property.

Local Attractions

The property is walking distance from Aurora Stadium (home to the Hawthorn FC), the Inveresk precinct which houses the Museum and Academy of Arts and The Seaport Complex which provides a variety of restaurants and bars.

Still within walking distance or a short drive is our world famous Cataract Gorge, CBD, City Park, Launceston Aquatic Centre, local shopping centre featuring Woolworths, Commonwealth & ANZ Banks, Chemist, Post Office, Bottle Shops and various takeaway outlets.

Close by is the University of Tasmania, Australian Maritime College, TAFE Tasmania and Drysdale House
