The house is situated on a spacious and private block with views to the west of the Sisters, and only five minutes walk to Steels Beach and Henderson Lagoon. There are four bedrooms with queen beds and linen provided; the main bedroom has an en suite and its own deck to have your morning tea or coffee on. There is a separate toilet and the bathroom has a bath with views of the hills. There is also a laundry.
The house has a grey water system, reverse cycle hot water system, an inbuilt composting unit in the sink, double glazing, insulation in the floor, walls and ceiling. The floor acts as a heat bank in the kitchen and living areas and for those evenings that maybe be a little cool there is a pellet heater.
Location
Falmouth is a small township out on a headland, (there is no shop but the nearest one is only 10kms away) approx half way between St Helens and Bicheno, an ideal location for exploring the surrounding east coast or just kicking back and relaxing. There is a beautiful beach of white sand that stretches for 10kms and a tidal lagoon. At the top end of the lagoon you will find the Winifred Curtis Reserve with an abundance of bird life.
The fishing is great in the area, plus there are lots of choices for swimming, surfing, wind surfing, kayaking or the more relaxing option of sitting on a beach ( multiple beautiful and empty beaches) watching the waves roll in.
Not far away to the south is the Douglas Apsley National Park, Freycinet National Park and to the north the Bay of Fires, Binalong Bay and the Blue Tiers, or up the St Marys Pass is St Patricks Headland (Paddy's Head) and the South Sister to climb for stunning views.

Boutara was a comfortable home with spacious surrounds and a cosy natural feel. We enjoyed our stay and especially the coastline and beaches of Falmouth. We appreciated the eco philosophy to the homestead and enjoyed the range of teapots on hand which is rare in home rentals. The owners were accomodating and attentive to deal with.

I liked it
We enjoyed a very restful holiday at Boutara and would love to return sometime.
Very well equipped, clean and interesting house. Plenty of space - would loved to have finished the Jigsaw puzzle!!
Would recommend it for a group or just 3 or 4 singles.

We stayed with a group of friends at Boutara and it was the perfect location for a summer getaway. The house has plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax and it was great sitting out on the deck enjoying the sunshine. The beautiful beach is only a short 2 minute walk. The house is child friendly with a huge yard for kids to run around and the park is only across the road. We didn't move far but if you need to leave the shops are only a short distance. We would all recommend Boutara as a holiday rental and will definately be back again.

It was a cosy, warm house in a lovely peaceful area. We stayed at a few places during our trip around Tassie and
your home was top notch. The place was
impeccable. It was great to arrive at a house and have access to all the kitchen ware, utensils and some panty items - well thought out. Loved our time there.

I had my 50th birthday at Boutara for 8 guests including myself and my wife. We did not know what was in the beach house in the way of cooking utensils + glasses and just everyday odds and ends e.g. cling wrap, paper towel, foil, tea, coffee. So we took the lot.......DONT WORRY IT IS ALL THERE.
The best birthday Ive had.
Thanks, David for a fantastic property in the best location Falmouth.
All the best Richard+Lynne.

Thank you so much David for letting us rent your holiday home. We had a wonderful time. Very relaxing. Clean, roomy and warm :)
We will defiantly be staying again. Suits a large family. Very quiet and close to the beaches. True paradise.
