Description
Our accomodation venue is set on a a 300 acre working farm in the Hunter Valley. You can choose to involve yourself in farmlife, visit our local attractions or just relax .People love that we are away from the hustle and bustle of the vineyard areas...but are still close enough to enjoy a visit with a quick 10 minute drive.
The view and the atmosphere at this farm speak for themselves...but for the time being, imagine:
*quiet country walks in areas such as along our lovely slow flowing creek that meanders through the property.
*sitting on your own verandah taking in our incredible views
*seeing your children experience nature first hand with supervised access to our guinea pigs,rabbits,chickens,sheep, goats , cows and pony.
*experiencing a building where every brick tells a story
*the knowledge that you 'just feel at home here'.
This truly is a place that will appeal to families or couples .
Special things about your accomodation include:

The Farmstay Building
The farmstay bedrooms can accomodate from 2 to 6 people. This building has been purpose built to give an old world feel with a feeling of grandeur and luxury added to the mix. Building materials have been sourced from as far as Bega on the south coast and from historic buildings in Newcastle....as well as local products.This is a building that tells you a story of how it came to be , at a glance....and your hosts will be only to happy to share a story or two on how it was built.
Each room has air conditioning for year round comfort. We are also blessed with a gorgeous sunroom for those blustery winter days. Just imagine soaking up the sun in the comfort of your enclosed verandah on a cold winter's day with a glass of the valley's finest wine in your hand!
Family antiques grace the beautiful private lounge /dining area and make for interesting dinner conversation over a bottle of red.You might even spot the distinctive 'dog footprints ' in the old sandstock bricks around the fireplace.
Your dining table overlooks lush farmland and the local creek . You have three different spectacular views from the rooms ,verandah and dining area...but nothing tops the verandah sunset from the seating area on the western side of the house!
Other areas that provide little retreats are the sun room overlooking our pastures and a private courtyard/BBQ area.There is also the opportunity to just walk around and explore this beautiful farm....afterall 300 acres is plenty of room to stretch the legs!
We built the accomodation area with families in mind, and have a kitchenette facility with microwave avaliable for guests also. A high chair is also avaliable .
We can cater for allergies if notified ahead of arrival ...and have particular experience in dealing with the needs of gluten free adults and children.
