Description
This is a well appointed retreat on 10 privates acres within the 1000 acre Eaglereach Highland Park, a bushland resort on top of Mt George. A bottle of sparkling, white wine, chocolates, breakfast provisions, condiments, linen, bedding and towels are provided. Guests have free use of Austar pay television and WiFi internet.
On the ground floor, there is a fully equipped kitchen leading to a bright, living room with TV, slow combustion wood heater, reverse cycle heater and double sofa bed. There is a modern bathroom and a laundry with second toilet. Upstairs, the main bedroom has a queen bed, a sitting and study area and the same heating as downstairs. The second and third bedrooms each have a double bed. Outside, there is a luxurious, heated spa, ample parking, garden settings, a gas barbeque and wide verandas with spectacular views of The Barrington Tops.
Location and Facilities
The property is 2.5 hours north of Sydney, conveniently located 12km from Vacy, 45km north of Maitland, near the historic town of Paterson and Gresford wineries. Guests have free use of the resort's tennis court, walking trails, games room, day spa, swimming pool, outdoor fitness centre, children's playground, gas barbeques, fishing ponds, picnic areas, swimming lagoon and 4WD tracks. Guests may dine in, visit the local restaurant or the Flying Duck Cafe in Vacy. Eaglereach Highland Park has an amazing variety of flora and fauna. There is lush rainforest on one side and ancient trees interspersered with cliffs on the other. Wildlife abounds at the resort, with kangaroos, wallabies, possums, goannas, king parrots and eagles.
Pricing and Other Information
Prices displayed in the calendar above are for two people staying two nights. The 'special' prices and those that follow are for two people until 7 June:
$430 for Saturday and Sunday nights
$500 for 3 weeknights (Monday-Thursday)
$550 for 3 nights including Saturday
$720 for 5 nights including Saturday.
For other scenarios, please enquire. Unless otherwise arranged, a 50% deposit is required to secure a booking and 10 days prior to arrival the balance is due with a $200 security deposit. On receipt, access arrangements will be sent. The standard check-out time is 2pm. Full terms and conditions will be emailed with quotes on enquiry.
