The Cottage is fully equipped for all holiday makers and travellers. Centrally located, you are only a short walk to the town centre and foreshore. The self contained cottage comprises of two bedrooms sleeping six with a spare mattress on the floor sleeps seven. One bedroom consists of a queen bed and the other bedroom a double bed and one set of bunks.
The cottage has a lounge, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, bathroom (no bath), laundry area and large rear veranda. The bedrooms and lounge are fully carpeted whilst the dining room remains cement with a large carpet square (just fine for sandy feet!).
Kids are catered for in the lounge with their own kids corner of toys. A small desk and two mini chairs provides the ideal place for a little drawing or colouring in with the pencils and pads located in the cupboard. In the bookcase is a selection of picture books for story time.
A range of movies are supplied so you can relax on the lounge or read a magazine on the couch in the dining room. You can dabble with Scrabble or try your hand at Draughts.
There is ample room to park your vehicle/s and boat in the driveway. A fish cleaning sink is located outside under the shade of the shed.
The property is large and fully fenced to keep the kids in and your four legged friends.
Pets are welcome however we ask that you do not let them in the house.
Complimentary tea,coffee and sugar is supplied along with a small supply of essential consumables - washing powder, toilet paper, hand soap, tomato sauce, salt & pepper and more.
We appreciate that families do not want to fill the car with loads of bedding and linen so we provide it all for you with the exception of beach towels. On your arrival the beds will be made.
Streaky Bay is a fully serviced town with two supermarkets, three fuel outlets, restaurant, pub, chemist, hairdressers, newsagency, hospital, dentist, bakery, florist, surf shop, butcher shop, hardware store, local oysters and more.
Enjoy natures best by taking a walk and fossick through the beautiful shells at Back Beach only 5 minutes from the town. You may even catch the local surfers out on their boards at Back Beach. A favourite! Or discover the Granites on the Westall Way Loop scenic drive. So much to see, so pop on your hat, swimmers and sunburn cream and take it all in!
Recreational fishers please note effective 1 September 2012 a permit is required to launch your boat from Moores Boat Ramp. Daily permits are available for $5.00 and weekly permits, $15.00. Permits are available from the Caravan Park Kiosk or Rural Transaction and Visitor Information Centre.
Travellers, phone coverage is restricted to the Telstra Next G network.
Streaky Bay and districts offer beautiful coastline, excellent fishing and interesting inland natural wonders. Come and stay and experience it for yourself!
