Activities and sightseeing
Goolwa is a historic township which has retained much of its heritage and charm. Visit the main street with craft shops, cafes, and fine art galleries. Your access to the Coorong National Park and Hindmarsh Island and the River Murray. The Sunday market at the wharf is well worth the visit for local produce and art and craft stalls.There are many local activities at hand for all ages including Surfing, wine tasting, whale watching (during May to October) and the historic Cockle train a favorite for young and old.

Golfing ..Several courses in close proximity including The South Lakes golf course at Goolwa 5 minute drive from Ocean View. McCracken golf club at Victor Harbor a perfect challenge for the golfer with an excellent restaurant. Also the Victor Harbor Course and the Fleurieu Club at Mt Compass all an easy drive away.
Surfing at Goolwa Beach and famous Boomer beach at Middleton.
Bike Riding Follow the Fleurieu Bike Trail along the coast to Victor Harbor via Middleton and Pt. Elliot.
Ride the Cockle train to Victor fun for all.
Take the historic Paddle Steamer on the river for lunch or sunset cruises.
Tours available to the Coorong National Park to explore the wild environment, huge sand dunes, waterways, exotic flora and fauna.Tours can be booked at the Goolwa Wharf
Hindmarsh Island over the bridge to the Mouth of the River Murray. Enjoy a meal or drink at the Marina over looking the water. A visit to Narnu farm for fun and perhaps a horse ride.
At Pt Elliot, ( just 15 minute drive away) make the most of the beautiful safe swimming beach at Horseshoe Bay. Enjoy a cliff top walk with stunning views or sauntering along the street taking in a number of antique, craft and book shops. Fish and chips from the famous Flying Fish Cafe a must.
Victor Harbor is certainly worth a visit. The horse drawn cart to Granite Island to see the fairy Penquin colony enjoy the interpretive centre, cliff walks and Rocks cafe.

Greenhills Adventure Park great fun for all with water slides, Kayaking, mini golf, water bikes, flying fox and picnic grounds.
