Marong is 40km from beautiful Deniliquin which hosts the ute muster annually and the annual Blues and Roots Festival,it is only 20 minutes from these sites.Iconic Conargo pub is just a stones throw from this beautiful property.There is also a local winery at Conargo to visit as well as being between historic Jerilderie and Deniliquin for major shops.
You will enjoy staying in a 1921 cottage which sits on a sandhill overlooking the Forest Creek,with fish to catch at your doorstep or quietly go for a walk along the banks to discover the wildlife.you can jump in a canoe and have a paddle in the creek,Your hosts will love to take you around their property if you would like to be involved OR you can stay in the cottage and watch TV or read a book on the verandah.There is one main bedroom with a double bed and in the lounge room there is a fold out double sofa.There is a wood fire for those winter nights and an air conditioner for those warm nights.Couples or a family will enjoy everything that Marong has to offer.
