Alandale is an architect designed traditional style weatherboard and iron family home, set on a garden block. Comprising 5 bedrooms with built-in robes, 3 bathrooms complete with stone bath, Italian designed tiles and rain showers. Alandale is flooded with northern light and offers open family spaces with New England Oak floors and quality carpets in the formal lounge and bedroom areas. The kitchen includes an Ilve oven, large bi-fold doors, which extend out to the garden. Separate to the home is a large studio complete with bathroom .

Far from the madding crowd", but only a five minute stroll to the village centre. Close to some of the best bush walks in the Blue Mountains which include waterfalls and spectacular views. Handy to all the major tourist attractions. The Scenic Railway and Cable Car, ride the steepest railway in the Southern Hemisphere, enjoy a drink at the famous Carrington Hotel, boutique shopping in Leura, the Zig Zag Railway, Jenolan Caves, the Three Sisters and peruse many art galleries and souvenir shops.
These are just some of the treats the Mountains have to offer in all four seasons. Be it under a sprinkling of snow, a carpet of Autumn colour, amongst the blossoms of spring or the warm days and cool evenings of Summer.
When you're finally spent, relax in total privacy at Alandale

Another bathroom would have been handy for a group of 10 but apart from that we were perfectly satisfied. The lounge room, television room and kitchen were all excellent and the open fire a cosy delight. I would thoroughly recommend Alandale to a group wanting a few days in the mountains.

Beautiful throughout! The garden was just turning into autumn colours which was spendid. We all fell in love with this property the moment we stepped in. The house had everything we could dream of. Will definitely come back! :)

their families. As there were 12 people staying in the house/ studio we used

We had a Hens weekend getaway here at Alandale last weekend and it was one of the most amazing stays ever. Alandale was exactly how the photos look like online.
Everything was very new and clean. Given it was a very wet and raining weekend, we spent alot of time indoors and felt very cosy. The kitchen was fully equipped with cooking utensils, cutlery, serving ware, wine glasses and even simple condiments and a new Brita filtre for the Brita filtre water jug.
We were able to cook meals and even bake desserts with the almost commercial standard stove/oven. The best part of the kitchen was the coffee machine. For our stay, linen and towels were provided and was of good quality.
Can't wait to come back during winter and use the fireplace!
Rob was very helpful prior to our stay, always answering questions promptly and I got my refund for the bond straightaway.
We all enjoyed out stay very much and would recommend Alandale for your next big gathering getaway.

On behalf of our entire family group, we would like to say a big 'Thank You' for the opportunity of staying in the beautifully appointed and comfortable accommodation at both ALANDALE and Oakview Cottage last weekend. Both homes suited our family grouping perfectly.
We had a fantastic family reunion. Everybody enjoyed their stay in their respective homes, as well as the facilities in ALANDALE where we held our main family dinner. We also had opportunity to show our interstate relative the highlights of the Blue Mountains too.
Wentworth Falls is a great location. I trust we were quiet for the neighbours

This property is Devine! Very thoughtfully decorated and beautifully renovated.My only request for next time would be coffee and instructions on how to use the machine. My friends were craving coffee and as modern as the machine was we didn't know how to use it! Will definitely return...location is quiet and peaceful and very close to everything in Wentworth falls and only a few minutes from Leura.

Spring is the perfect time to visit the Blue Mountains, crisp mornings and cold nights, we toasted marshmallows in the evening by the fire and the children were content to play all day in the beautiful garden. Great place to stay. Happy children equals happy parents. Could not have asked for a better place to stay than Alandale.

Alandale is a wonderful house for large groups and the photos absolutely do the place justice - the kitchen/dining area was a fabulous place to hang out with a large island bench and a huge 12 seater table.
The beds were all extremely comfortable and the ducted air conditioning made the freezing mountain temperatures a non-issue.
The lounge with open fire place is a perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and a board game or two - our group made the most of this! The sofas are soft and comfy and really make you feel like you are relaxing at home.
It is only a 2 minute drive or 15 minute walk to the Wentworth Falls look out at the end of the road, a must if you are going to stay at this property.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend this house!

This property delivers as much as it the photos promise. Lovely to stay in. And incredibly central. The bushwalks, lookouts and conservation hut are just a stones throw away. Also just 2 mins drive to the beautiful Leura Mall
