Dangar Island Moorings is an ideal place to relax and unwind with family and friends. It offers a newly renovated interior with luxury bathrooms and cook's kitchen. The accommodations includes 2 double rooms and a bunkroom with 2 sets of bunks.
This waterfront property offers a jetty and pontoon to fish, swim and kayak from. Your family will enjoy playing on the sands of the tidal beach. There is much to do on the island such as an enjoyable stroll or a tacticle game of bowls at the Dangar Island bowling club. You could even enjoy a latte at the general store when you pick up your fresh bread.
At the end of the day you could enjoy sunset drinks on either the jetty or treetop balcony. The BBQ area has one of the best views on the island!
If you don't feel like cooking you can always head back to the bowling club for dinner.
Family Getaway in Sydney
Dangar Island Moorings is less then 30mins from Wahroonga and will offer your family a wonderful getaway location. Familys will love this house as they can spread out yet be together. This house offer two double bedrooms and a bunkroom which sleeps four children with comfort (a cot can be made available).
Your family will be able to enjoy the river with kayaks available for guests use. It is a great spot to enjoy the Hawkesbury River and the Brisbane Waters. If you have a boat it can be accommodated with arrangement on the properties large jetty.
The large kitchen with gorgeous river views is a prefect place to cook family meals but if cooking is not for you the island bowling club in open for dinner 3 nights and lunch Saturday and Sunday. Or you could catch ferry to Thai restaurant or pub in Brooklyn, a water taxi to the Mooney Mooney club or one of the local water access only resturants.
Senior card holders are entitled to a 10% discount please advise at time of enquiry.
*Please note that the nightly tariff is based on the renting the house no matter how many guests are staying.
So you only pay for cleaning and linen once per stay, cleaning is billed once per stay and sheets and towels are optional extras (blankets, pillows and doonas are include)*
If you are found to have more than 8 guests you WILL lose your bond, no exceptions are made.
Due to the uniqueness of an island location this property will not be serviced while guests are staying.
