Description
This very large 2 storey holiday house has it all. Big enough for 2 or more families to holiday together and share the cost (sleeps max 14). Otherwise, plenty of space for smaller groups to spread out and enjoy.
Upstairs, it has a large open plan room encompassing a modern kitchen with built in cook top and oven with a great assortment of pots, pans, baking dishes etc. coffee machine and upright fridge and full freezer as well as a wine cooler. There is a full sized dining table to fit 8 and comfy leather lounge suite to watch tv or dvd movies on 40' flatscreen. On the verandah is a large outside setting to seat 8 more. Downstairs is a smaller well equipped kitchen and large upright fridge/freezer plus large dining table and lounge with another 40' flatcreen tv/dvd. Pool & BBQ area on patio outside
BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS
Upstairs is the main bedroom with queen bed and fully equipped private ensuite. For those with infants, there is a nursery room off the main bedroom. The 2nd bedroom has a Double decker with double bed below and single up top. The third bedroom has 2 single beds. All bedrooms have air conditioning, built in wardrobes and a set of french doors that open onto the expansive verandah. The main bathroom with toilet, shower,bathtub & vanity is located upstairs as well. Downstairs are 2 bedrooms with queen beds as well as a fold out double sofa bed and fold down devan in the living room. Another bathroom with toilet/shower/vanity is located downstairs beside the laundry and garage. All beds are made up. There are bath towels & pool towels supplied as well.
LOCATION & ATTRACTIONS
We are located 1 block back from the Pacific Ocean. It's a short stroll to the Beach, Esplanade, Patrolled swimming enclosure, Jetty, Hotel/TAB & Restaurant. Magnificent night views of Townsville lights across the bay are visible from the Esplanade. Magnetic Island Golf course is in the opposite direction but within walking distance. Public transport is available at regular intervals, otherwise hire a car or bring your own vehicle over on the vehicle ferry. It only takes 45 minutes. The passenger ferry is quicker (20min) Take a cruise to the Great Barrier Reef or snorkel close by. There's heaps of interesting walks, fishing trips, sports activities, jet ski tours etc.
