Description
GLENBURN HOUSE, a B&B at Wisemans Creek, is only two and half hours from Sydney and twenty minutes from Bathurst and Oberon. Surrounded by picturesque, hilly countryside, it offers the perfect spot to relax in the country.
Accommodation consists of three guest rooms, all separate from the main house, each with en-suite, plus the old school room which is now a welcoming guest sitting room with open fire. Verandahs, terraces and a spacious garden provide many other delightful spots to sit and relax.
Cooked or continental breakfast is included. For evening meals you can try the local O’Connell Hotel or one of the many fine restaurants in Bathurst or Oberon.
If you want to get out and about, the district offers many attractions, including Jenolan Caves and Mayfield Gardens, plus mushrooming and truffle hunting in season. For the more energetic, horse riding, trout fishing, bushwalking and bike riding are also available. If you want to simply sit and enjoy the peace of the country you can relax by the fire or find a chair in the garden. Once night has fallen, don’t forget to check out the starry sky.
Facilities
Three 'queen' guest rooms, all with spacious ensuites. All guest rooms are separate from the main house, two are located in a separate guest pavilion and the third is in a separate private spot in the garden.
Balcony Room has its own private verandah; Courtyard Room has the luxury of a full size bath tub; Terrace Room has its own private deck.
For summer cooling: ceiling fans in two of the guest rooms, floor fan in the third. For winter heating: under-floor heating in all bathrooms and electric heaters in all bedrooms.
TV and DVD player in all bedrooms.
Guest sitting room (former school room) with open fire.
Continental or cooked breakfast served in dining room or in the garden if weather permits.
Tariff and Conditions
Our accommodation is Bread and Breakfast, not self-contained. Our tariff is per queen room, per couple, per day, including breakfast. There is a small discount for a single adult occupying a queen room. Children can be accommodated on stretchers in the parent’s room at a small additional fee per extra child.
Payment is by credit card (we accept Mastercard or Visa) or by direct deposit.
50% deposit is required on booking.
Tariffs are subject to change without notice.
Check-in time is 3.00 pm; check-out time is 11.00am.
Glenburn House is SMOKE FREE within the buildings.
Note that there is no mobile telephone reception at the house. Reception is available two minutes drive away at the top of the hill.

Prices
Our tariff of $200 is per queen room (2 people) per night. We add stretcher beds to the room for up to 2 children per room at $25 per child. If there are three adults you will need to book two rooms unless the extra adult opts to sleep on a stretcher bed!
