Built back in 1934, Lily Pad Inn has been lovingly maintained and offers its guests a chance to experience traditional Queensland living. Lily Pad Inn boasts original tongue and groove walls, polished timber floors, high ceilings and casement windows.
Although Lily Pad Inn was built over 70 years ago, guests will not go with out todays creature comforts. Lily Pad Inn has been retrofitted to include, air conditioning, a modern fully self contained kitchen, and a host of other modern conveniences.
Lily Pad Inn can comfortably accommodate 8 guests, which makes it an ideal and economical holiday home option. You will love entertaining with the barbecue on the outdoor verandah. Guests wanting a more intimate experience are also catered for, with the master bedroom offering an atmosphere and romance that can't be recreated in any hotel or resort room.
Bedding configuration is as follows:
Master bedroom - 1 King size bed.
Bedroom 1 - 1 Queen size bed.
Bedroom 2 - 1 Queen size bed.
Sleep out 1- 1 Single bed and 1 double bed.
Sleep out 2- 1 Double sofa bed.
Lily Pad Inn has 1 bathroom with separate bathtub and shower.

Lily Pad Inn is located in an area of Cairns that allows its guests to optimise their Far North Queensland holiday. We are only two blocks in from the northern end of the Cairns Esplanade. The airport and city are both less then a 5 minute drive.
We are one of the closest holiday homes to Cairns city.

The house is comfortably and stylishly furnished. There were many little details that made the stay feel like a real holiday - from all the niceties of the kitchen to the books to browse. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this to anyone! The location is fabulous - we could go for lovely long walks along the Esplanade from the front door.

We had a magic stay at the Lily Pad Inn, it is such a beautiful property with outstanding fixtures and fittings - linen, kitchen equipment and furntiure. All the beds were extremely comfortable and the layout of the house suits families with or without children. The outdoor verandah decking is so peaceful and perfect for relaxing at night. Matt & Wayne are so accommodating and kind - happy to assist with any enquiry, we had an amazing holiday and will definitely stay here again. Thank you!!

We had a lovely stay at Lily Pad Inn and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cairns. We will definitely be staying there again the next time we visit. The house is immaculate and contains everything that you would expect in a self-contained holiday let. The house has been very tastefully decorated and the beds and rooms are very comfortable. The house is very conveniently located with shops nearby for anything that you might need and not that far from the city centre either. Dwayne (the owner) was very accommodating and very nice to deal with, an absolute pleasure staying there.

We had a lovely, peaceful time in this beautiful, classic Queenslander, just a few minutes from the centre of town. We rarely went out, preferring to spend our days on the verandah with good food, drinks, card games and laughs. The rest of the time was spent cooking in the very well-equipped kitchen, lazing in beautifully soft beds, and watching the Olympics on the couch. Little touches like good quality linen, decent pots and pans, books, magazines and the CD player were very much appreciated. The negotiations with Dwayne, the owner, were a breeze. This house in beautiful surroundings was ideal for a family wedding. The bride and her bridesmaids were able to have hair, makeup and get dressed all under one roof with plenty of room. It was great to just walk in to a fully equipped, spotless kitchen. In fact the whole house was spotless and the beds were the best.Would stay again and highly recommend it.Location was great.

Recently we had the pleasure of staying at The Lily Pad in Cairns. It was a big occasion for our family. My daughter was being married and we used the house as our family retreat for the day before and after the wedding.
The house was just perfect and the hosts Dwayne and Matt could not have been more generous with their efforts to help us.
My daughter left for the Ceremony from the house. We had the hairdresser, the photographer, the make up artist and all the others involved in the wedding party come at some stage. The house never felt crowded with all its special nooks and crannies- back veranda, sleep-out, entrance, and huge under house area for everyone to move about.
The house is just beautifully ���styled��� with quality furnishings, art work, linen, kitchen utensils and much more. The Owners are to be congratulated on providing such quality with out pretension.
The Wedding photos taken at the house are beautiful- the dressing table, the front stairs and the veranda all added the feeling of being in a ���home��� not a rental property!
The advertising by the Owners is accurate and we got everything we expected and more!

Myself and 7 friends stayed at the property for 4 nights. The owner Dwayne was extremely helpful from start to finish. All queries or questions that we had we answered promptly.
The Lily Pad Inn was immaculately clean, the beds were of a great standard and the house was fully equipped with everything you could need and more, attention to detail is evident throughout.
There was plenty of space for all 8 adults. This was a fantastic find and great value for money. I would definitely recommend the Lily Pad Inn to anyone, and would most definitely stay if ever holidaying in Cairns in the future.

My family can't speak any more highly of this property. With 6 of us staying here we couldn't find better value for money. Being so close to town was a real bonus. The owners really went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. There were even tennis racquets for us to use at the tennis centre next door. Thanks for looking after us Dwayne and Matt.
