A short stroll from the house is the Bruny Island Hotel where you can sample both local and Tasmanian produce in a lovely bistro style atmosphere. The hotel also has free wifi and a great selection of both boutique wine and beer. All other major attractions including the Bruny Island Eco cruise, penguin rookery, Bruny Island berry farm, cheese shop and fudge producers are within a 15 to 20 minute drive from the house. A child friendly swimming beach, kayaking, fishing from the jetty and romantic sunset walks along Sunset Bay are a stones throw from the house. A spectacular property, exceptionally well equiped and situated in a magnificent location. Those sunsets!!! Ideally situated to enjoy the sunshine at any time of day, or even the wood heater in the event of rain! Very comfortable beds, enjoyed the peace and tranquility and exploring the beautiful island. There was nothing lacking. We were very relaxed,lazier than intended and left with contentment!Thank-you.

This certainly was a lovely house design and a magical spot and we'll miss waking up watching the "colouring in"of the morning views. Had a restful time and enjoyed being somewhere we haven't been before and meeting some of the local people. We are seasoned walkers and naturalists and loved the wildlife and the walk around Cloudy Bay Lagoon. Bruny Island is magical and so is this house. Highly recommended.

What a holiday! The house was just superb, such a great design. Large, spacious, so well equipped and beautifully appointed. The views were endless, we never tired of watching the seascape. Kids loved the extensive music and CD selection. We even saw dolphins from the deck.....the kids were on cloud nine! We have been to many holiday houses and never been so spoilt with such a well stocked and equipped kitchen....fantastic! We highly recommend this property and promise to be back in 2013.

We spent the first week of the year at this wonderful property, which allows you to be on 'Bruny time' from the moment you walk in the door. Fresh oysters, local wine, bread and cheese, a cool breeze and good friends and family - what more could you want?
The house itself is large and fuss free. It was too windy for us to use the BBQ, but the kitchen inside enabled us to serve up large meals and talk the night away.
Highly recommended.
