Everyone is under the one roof and able to spread out or gather together in relaxed comfort- and only 3 mins from town! It offers a unique and idyllic lifestyle experience and is not just another suburban house.
This recently built seven star energy rated mud brick retreat is an extremely comfortable home away from home. It has a fantastic warm country feel featuring recycled timbers throughout - floors, walls, ceilings, eaves, pillars and beams. A huge open plan dining/living area adjoins a fully equipped spacious kitchen with beautiful recycled ironbark bench tops, wood stove and conventional stovetop/oven plus high feature windows to let in lots of natural light. The polished floor boards have to be seen to be believed. This casual and comfortable area also features a very efficient bluestone double-sided fire place. It faces both a generous dining area and a spacious lounge room with TV, DVD player and CD player. Thermostatically controlled hydronic panels heat the rest of the house very effectively. It is an ideal temperature all year round - cool in summer and warm in winter. This means you'll be totally comfortable all year round in the most idyllic and relaxed of settings.
There are five bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen bed with spacious walk-in robe. Three other bedrooms all have a double bed plus a set of bunks. The fifth bedroom has two sets of bunks. All bedrooms and wet areas have sound proofing.
The main bathroom has a claw foot bath with olde worlde taps and a stained glass light shade to complete the effect. Two other separate bathrooms each incorporate a shower & basin. There are also two separate toilets, and a laundry, all making it ideal and very comfortable for a large family or group. All wet areas also feature beautiful and unique natural multi coloured slate flooring for an extra warm and rustic feel.
The large fully equipped games room has an interchangeable pool & table tennis table and a table soccer table. There is also another TV and DVD player. We cater for every taste and age. More high feature windows allow great views of the bush outside and the entry of lots of natural light.
Another entertainment area outside has a timber outdoor setting and a barbeque, all under a generous shade sail.
The house is all on one level and has disabled access in mind including an easy access shower and toilet.
All linen, bedding, and towels are provided.
