Located in Sydney's serene northern beaches near Avalon just 45 minutes from the Sydney Harbour Bridge. 30 minutes from Manly Wharf. 40 minutes from North Sydney Railway Station.
The studio cottage is located in a quiet residential area in walking distance of the local cafe, pizza, bottle and organic food shops.
A short drive will transport you to a number of stunning ocean beaches and pools. Choose from Avalon Beach, Whale Beach, Palm Beach, Bilgola Beach and Newport Beach.
View the spectacular sunsets across Pittwater from one of the many bays around the shores of Clareville.
Visit Avalon to enjoy the numerous cafes and restaurants or browse the boutique shops for that special purchase.
For bush walking enthusiasts there are national parks, reserves, coastal tracks and the recently constructed wetlands.
Enjoy a picnic at Paradise Beach.
A game of golf at Long Reef, Bayview, Mona Vale, Avalon or Palm Beach.

We are dog friendly. Well behaved "small" to "medium" dogs are allowed but sorry, no cats. Dog tariff is $25.00 / night / dog. Dog / s bond is $250.00 / stay.

We had a delightful stay. The studio was immaculate, well-equipped and private and with beautiful views of the garden. The owners were immensely helpful in every way. Nothing was a trouble to them.

The Garden Cottage was fantastic, exactly what we were looking for and perfect for our dog. The cottage was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Highly recommended, we will hopefully stay again.

Michael and Alaine were the perfect hosts. The place is beautiful with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's in a great location and the pool and spa were perfect for days were we wanted to stay at home with our 3year old daughter and our dog, Lucy and the house dog, the wondrous, Bailey. Alaine was sweet enough to buy a little boat for our daughter to play with in the pool. A very thoughtful gesture. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back in the future.

My miniature poodle, Benoit and his cavoodle brother, Orlando truly enjoyed their 3 week stay and fun times with resident pooch, Bailey. We look forward to returning in the very near future.

Cognac (my dog) and I spent a lovely week staying at Bilberry Cottage. Alaine and Michael were wonderful hosts and went above and beyond the call of duty. Whilst there the temperatures were extremely hot and they ensured Cognac was looked after at all times (even putting him in tha air con on a 432 degree day). The cottage is lovely, very well equipped with everything and more than your require and is in a fabulous location. There is a wonderful cafe nearby and a small group of shops that you can walk to that has everything you need. Avalon, Palm Beach and Whale Beach are a short drive away - Avalon is lovely - lots of interesting shops, cafes, restaurants etc and the beaches are fabulous. If you do not visit this place then you are missing out - I cannot wait to return.

to say the least, it was breathtaking to wake up to open the french doors of this stunning little cottage amongst the landscaped gardens and the pool/spa just a few steps away. Our dog Isobel stayed with us and she was welcomed with open arms, facilities are top notch yet the cottage itself has the cosiness of home. This property is far enough away to hear the birds sing, yet close enough to wander or drive into town to grab a bite to eat or do a little shopping. We are now just trying to budget in another holiday to make our trek back and stay again, highly recommended, would stay again in a heartbeat. Many thanks to our hosts & bailey

Michelle and I stayed at Michael and Alaine's cottage for 4 nights while we visited family in the area. Michael was a good host, always available when needed but not intrusive. The cottage was private and quiet, very tidy just like in the photos and we would definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone looking for comfortable studio style accommodation on the plateau.

Our experience was amazing! We had our civil wedding on sat 06th and Bilgola cottage was the perfect and quiet place to be after the party. Also I got change and did my whole making off there and the cottage was perfect for the photos! It is beautiful and cozy, well decorated and the outdoor spa on the night before was perfect to relax and make my groom relaxed for the big day! Has everything what you need for a great getaway and more! Michael & Aileen made our stay unforgettable!
I highly recommend and looking forward to be back in the future!

The property is a hidden gem! What you see is what you get, no hidden surprises!
We enjoy our time at Bilberry Cottage and we could not ask for anything more in a place to stay. It was great location for a wedding we attended in Terry Hills.
Michael was exceptional with his service and had a great knowledge of the local area. It was lovely to have this advice as we had never been to the northern shore of Sydney.

This little cottage is a treasure. It is beautifully designed and immaculate. The hosts provided everything I could possibly need - right down to a torch in the bedside table and fresh milk in the fridge on arrival. As well as being friendly and helpful, the hosts were very kind to my two dogs. This is definitely a pet-friendly property for well behaved pooches.
Most importantly, the cottage was the perfect springboard for exploring Sydney's marvellous Northern Beaches. Although I am a Sydney-sider, there are so many beautiful and interesting things to see and do. Enjoy lunch at the Palm Beach Boathouse, catch the Church Point ferry (dogs allowed), sticky beak around the filming of Home and Away, enjoy the fantastic beaches...

Firstly, a big thank you to Michael and Aileen for making our first visit to Bilgola and to their beautiful and luxurious cottage a memorable stay and look forward to our next one.
Everything we needed was available and if there was anything that we needed Michael was only too happy to oblige.
First class accommodation, linen and necessities were supplied.
Also pet friendly is a bonus as is Bailey the dog he is so playful and friendly.

Our 2 day stay was wonderful and warming, this beautiful cottage had modern, fresh and cosy touch. This was a perfect getaway and we couldn't have been more happier from the warm greeting to the beautiful location. We were providing with outstanding service and the cleanliness of the cottage was outstanding we instantly felt relaxed and a million miles away we were extremely impressed with how modern and new the cottage was we couldn't have asked for a nicer place. You have a magnificent garden and a wonderful pool and spa. There is so much to see and do and we cant wait to return soon.
