The large and fully equipped kitchen is ideal for all budding master chefs. A dining experience that looks directly onto the lake makes for a romantic candle lit dinner or extends to seat 12 adults for a gourmet feast. The sunset colours are mesmerizing as the sun disappears behind the lake.
Shingles is a place for togetherness and fun. The 3/4 size Abbot and Doyle snooker table will test your aim as you rest by either of the two fire places in winter. In summer you open the doors with so much lawn for everyone to play cricket under the sun or under the spotlights in the evening. Take the kayaks for a paddle or throw in a line from your own private beach to catch a few flatty or whiting for dinner.
Shingles is an amazing location for the boat enthusiast. Ski, wakeboard and tube all day on of the most protected bay in the Lake. This is where the locals come to ski even when the wind gets up. There is nothing better than a day of water activity on your own shoreline where you can park your craft at your own sandy beach. If you prefer to sail, enjoy Australia's largest salt water lake at your leisure when the breeze picks up. For large boats there are two boat ramps just 1km along the waterfront.
