Top of the Range is a relaxing rural retreat at the top of Jindabyne's range. Lola's Loft is a lovely two bedroom, cedar lodge style house with some beautiful views of the snow capped Mountains of Mt Kosciuszko and Thredbo. At 1200 meters above sea level the air stays crisp and cool. The property does get intermittant snow fall in winter and it can snow at times in other seasons. Snow falls transform the property into your own winter escape, a memory you could treasure. The weather can be extreme in the mountains but you can stay warm by the cosy fire place with a book or venture outside for a bonfire or BBQ. The property was aptly named and subdivided in 1901 and the landscape remains naturally rugged. Enjoy the experience of our country's snowy mountains, after a peaceful nights sleep in the comfy beds.
My favourite activity is to star gaze out the loft roof window from bed at night. Weather watch with most windows viewing the main range. There is plenty of room for you to explore for romantic picnics, family bush walks and sport. A great city escape for some rest and relaxation, returning home revitalised.
35-40 minutes to the ski resorts of Thredbo, Perisher and Mt Kosciuszko. The neighbours are the wildlife who sometimes pass by to drink from our dam. There is a variety of wildlife that like to visit including wallabies, wombats, and echidna. In summer months Lake Jindabyne is a great spot for fresh water fishing, swimming, kayaking and sailing. The snow melt from the winter makes for a refreshing dip even on the hottest days.
Bedding: The loft area has a double and two single beds, while the downstairs bedroom has a queen bed.
Pet Friendly
If you want to bring your pets, they love holidays here too. A mid size dog kennel sits under the cover of the patio. Plenty of space for family walks with your pet. Please bring your own pet bedding. The loft has its own fence line within the property to keep dogs secure.

Gorgeous views. Relaxing. Close to places to explore. Felt welcomed and the fireplace was great. We missed the snow by two days, but this was just what we needed to get away and relax. Our dog loved the new smells and exploring the area. We seen lots of wildlife and just took in the peacefulness of the place.

We had a lovely time at Top of the Range. The loft had everything we needed and was comfy. Our puppy was more than welcome and he had the best weekend away. We will definately be back.

A lovely place. Felt very at home and our dog was safe and secure as accom is fully fenced with access to surrounding property for walks as well. Lake Jindabyne is great at this time of the year, no crowds and the nights are cool, no humidity.

The fresh air relaxed me as I opened the car door. The arrival pressie made me feel at home. The views of the snow by the toasty fire is lovely. The bed was warm and cosy. A hidden gem. Thank You.

Thanks Lyndal for a wonderful 2 days at your cosy cottage.We had a great time,and the cottage was everything we had hoped for and more.It was warm and cosy,and all the little extras you had left for us made us feel very welcome.your loft is like a piece of paradise so tranquil and relaxing.

We had a fantastic stay at Lola's Loft. Beautifully situated and it contained everything a home would. the host greeted us graciously and then we were left to enjoy our stay. Comfortable and very relaxing atmosphere. the host had left little extra's for the kids, which they loved. Very thoughtful and highly recommended.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Lola's Loft, sitting by the fireplace looking across the snowy mountains ranges. Our puppy also enjoyed walking through the lovely bushland property. Looking forward to our next stay.
