DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPERTY
Cottage by the Sea is spacious, the views stunning, and it has recently been fully renovated by a local Interior Designer with a discerning eye to detail.
It sleeps 6 people:
Queen size bed in the large Master bedroom
Two single beds in the small bedroom
Double fold-out sofa bed in the living room
Ensuite bathroom leads off small bedroom
The living area is a huge space with timber flooring, and comprises a very comfortable lounge area with seating for 6 people and a 42 inch flatscreen TV with FOXTEL IQ SPORT; a dining area set for 6 people; and a newly installed kitchenette fully fitted with all kitchen supplies, kettle, toaster, sink, fridge/freezer, microwave, large electric frypan, and convection oven (which is good for cooking roasts, soups and even cakes), as well as the BBQ on the entertainment deck.
For al fresco dining, you have a choice of two outdoor locations, either the extensive BBQ area and large table on the upper patio, which comes straight off the living area and master bedroom .. OR .. the exclusive lower decking area (accessed through a gate which is bolted on both sides for children's safety), which overlooks the Creek, with your very own private jetty and concrete ramp, where you can put a boat in for a spot of fishing, your jet ski for a bit of water sport fun, or just cast a line over the edge and relax.
All this literally only metres away from the golden sands of Long Island Beach .. across the road from the huge Bayside Shopping Centre .. and walking distance to all the nightlife of Frankston.
LOCATION OF THE PROPERTY
Enjoy all the advantages of city living at the beach. Cottage by the Sea is located in Gould Street, which is locally referred to as The Golden Mile.
Ideal for fishing, its lower deck sits on Kananook Creek and boat-owners can enter the Creek from the Waterfront to moor their boats to the boat ramp attached to the decking of the Cottage.
Literally across the road, only a few metres from the Cottage, is the most beautiful Frankston Bay Beach with its golden sands of Long Island, which is clean and safe for family enjoyment. Also, the Cottage is only a few metres from the Frankston Life Saving Centre, with its refreshment kiosk below and exclusive Waves Restaurant above, with beautiful sea views off the balcony.
PLEASE NOTE ... that, although the Cottage is situated close to all the nightlife of the city, Gould Street itself is a quiet residential area of Frankston, and Cottage by the Sea is therefore NOT a good property for loud parties.

The peninsula is primarily a local tourist region, with popular natural attractions such as the variety of beaches both sheltered and open-sea and many scenic sights and views. Other popular attractions include the various wineries, mazes and the diverse array of water sports made available by the diversity of beaches and calm waters of Port Phillip and Western Port. It is known simply as "The Peninsula" to locals and Melburnians alike, giving rise to the expression "going down the peninsula".

The Penguin Parade at Phillip Island Nature Park, in which Little Penguins come ashore in groups, attracts visitors from all over the world. In addition to the Penguin Parade, there is also a Wild Life Park where wallabies and kangaroos roam freely amongst the visitors and can be fed by hand.
