The only reason there is a clock next to the bed is to
remind you how long getaway and you can do as you please.
You can choose to BBQ breakfast whatever time you would like it on your garden verandah and get closer to nature. Your Breakfast Hamper Basket is full of local produce which is fresh daily to be consumed at guests own leisure including cereal, bacon, eggs, fruit, fruit juice, bread jams and honey.
The day is yours and a schedule is for other places. At all other times, we can arrange meals in the restaurant nearby or the vegetarian cafe on the corner.
Your private, new world comes with a fully equiped kitchen if you suddenly have the urge to cook. Everything is there so you don't have to search for anything.
And if that is not enough your hosts are on hand to give you a hand, to help you get the most of your time on your own.
Things to do on the Waterfront...
With the waterfront only 150 mtrs from rear gate to Sandy Beach, a daily stroll is always a must. There is also a three lane boat ramp and floating pontoon with fish-cleaning bay, a pier for fishing or mooring, local playground, environmentally protected parks, native gardens and picturesque walks along the foreshore.
The waterfront restaurants include fish and chips, Greek restaurant, an a la carte dining restaurant,
breakfast and lunch and a gifts and home decor shop.
Its a leasurely 5 min walk to the General Store, Post Office, Newsagency and Bottle-shop. And the Special Events weekend shuttle bus picks up here. You are also within walking distance to boat hire, ships chandlery and boat sales/ service centre, Rhyll Trout Farm, everything you need without having to start the car.
If you are wanting to venture out a bit further it is a 5 min drive to the Purple Hen Winery, the Golf Club, Bowling Club, Ten-Pin Bowling and 10 min drive to the bustling tourist town of coastal Cowes for retail therapy and supermarkets.
