The home is heated/cooled with reverse cycle airconditioning, to ensure comfort all year round, the downstairs is heated with the cosy warmth of a wood tile fire. Possessing 2 rooms with 1queen bed and 1 four poster double bed and the 3rd with 2 single beds., This charming cottage can easily accommodate 6 persons.
Stepping into the tranquil outdoors, you may wish to play a ball-game amongst the sprawling lawns and manicured gardens, have a BBQ in the undercover alfresco area or simply sit atop the large upstairs verandah and admire the view of the coastline.
The house has a strictly No Party Policy. No School Leavers!
BINNINGUP is a small and serene coastal town situated 11/2 hrs drive south of Perth and 25mins north of Bunbury. Whether you want to visit the skate park, kick a ball around the footy oval, swim, fish, snorkel, dive or simply lay about on the pristine beach, Binningup will have something to offer you. There is also a boat launch, and four-wheel driving is permitted on the beach. If you're a keen golfer, or even if you're not, then do not leave without having a putt at the popular Binningup golf course. The highly regarded course features 9 holes, is set amongst peppermint trees, and is well renowned in golfing circles.
The General Store will surely have you covered, with groceries, fuel, alcohol, bait, an extensive take away food menu, DVD rental, mags and Binningup mercandise.
You can buy meals from the General Store every day, or alternatively, try the Country Club or the Fishing Club for night meals (check which nights available).
The Myalup Winery and the Old Coast Road Brewery are just a hop skip and jump away.
Bunbury is a 25min drive south of Binningup, and has much to offer. Go for a tour with the Dolphin Discovery Centre and meet some of the friendly local dolphins! You can also climb the Bunbury Tower which has exceptional 360 degree views of Bunbury. If its food your after, the cappuccino strip in the centre of Bunbury has some excellent cafes, or alternatively you may wish to visit the Marlston Waterfront which has an array of quality cafes set on the inlet.
Situated 20klm north-east fo Binningup is Harvey, Home of the Giant Orange!
This sleepy country town also has the Harvey Weir and Ampitheatre to offer, where you can utilise the picnic areas with gazeboes and BBQ's, set to the backdrop of the magnificent weir.
The Ferguson Valley is another lovely place to visit, boasting a selection of quality wineries. If you desire to venture a little further south, there is a multitude of wineries, cheese, and chocolate factories in the South Western Wine Region, all of which would be a comfortable daytrip from your Binningup accommodation.
