As an interior consultant, I would most likely go for a break in the most elegant yet affordable holiday home. Glenwood is situated at the front of Smith Lake surrounded with trees and has great view in every turn and easy access to lake from backyard. It is a stress-free environment both inside the home and outdoor.
From the oldest house in the neighbourhood, I personally transformed and designed each room for a family, group outings or couple’s romantic hide away. You will enjoy all the brand new ultra modern facilities me and my family have placed.
The house can accommodate up to two set of families to rekindle the bond and to reconnect with each other.
Luxury and comfort stay
As you open the curtains at the large lounge area, you will be greeted with the magnificent views offered by nature. We are more pleased if you can use the following features at the lounge room such as the digital TV with HiFi, CD, AM/FM radio and DVD/VHS player.
In addition, you can have free Wi-Fi access so you can browse the internet using your andriod phones or if you have an Ipad.
Our stylish kitchen have equipments and amenditties that you may use while on your stay such as coffee, tea. We will replenish anything you may basically need before your stay.
At the large main bedroom, it has quality bedding on a king-sized bed and open ensuite. You may also spoil yourselves using the luxurious spa that can accommodate up to two person.
There are 3 other bedrooms located downstairs with 1 queen bed, 1 double with single bunk bed and 2 single beds.
Also, I placed a modern laundry for your convenience during the stay.
2 Kayaks are free to use on the path to the lake that 50 meters from the back yard.
Your pets are welcome to stay the grassed back yard is secured. The huge upper deck can also be securely enclosed for your pet's safety and enjoyment. A large kennel is available. Pets are not permitted indoors.
Activities and Fun
During warm seasons, you will definitely enjoy the outdoor at the Smith Lake such as fishing, kayaking or Cellito, Blueys and Boomerang are fantastic surf beaches which is 5 minutes drive away. Elizabeth beach is wonderful for kids because it is a small protected bay. Shelley beach is also protected, great for fishing and accessed by a lovely little nature walk.
On cold seasons, you will love the firewood place that not all holiday houses have. Cosy up with your gang by watching a movie marathon and play at games area after or simply relaxing while viewing the sun set at the house deck and feast on some barbecues.
See how the lake mirrors its milieus, take photos and preserve each moments with your family, friends and loved ones. Feel the warm embrace of the sun while your kids play in freedom. You can also bring a good book that you have been wanting to read leisurely.
There are other various activities you may find yourself doing: You may play golf and tennis, bushwalking, local markets, 4WD trails and horse riding. Go shopping with the freshest seafood at The Charlotte Bay fish shop on Lakes Way or plainly savour a cuppa coffee at The Lakes Café and Frothy Coffee. The local village shops are also nearby to assist your necessities for a fun-filled holiday.
Forster Tuncurry is a 20min drive and has a large shopping centre, cinemas, restaurants, clubs, boat and fishing cruises etc.
