TESTIMONIAL: DEC 2010 Sandra B on Tripadvisor
Rating 5/5
"5 of us stayed at Devonshire Cottage for the finish of the Sydney to Hobart yacht race and were just blown away by the service and attention to detail in the house. There were breakfast provisions in the cupboard, fresh milk and eggs in the fridge and even a packet of chocolate biscuits for a cuppa. Julie and Dennis were so accommodating, even storing our luggage on our last day after check-out time!

The house was just lovely; the views were great and only a nice stroll down to the water. It was our first trip to Hobart, but we will definitely be returning and staying at Devonshire Cottage!

Stayed December 2010, travelled with friends "

  • "We had a lovely time at Murray Cottage - it was a beautiful heritage cottage in a very handy location, with everything we needed - including very comfortable bedrooms (with electric blankets that were much appreciated!), a well set up modern kitchen, bathroom and laundry. It was a short walk to all the great restaurants on Elizabeth St, and to the city and foreshore. We would definitely stay here again!"

  • "The Devonshire cottage is a beautiful, well equipped cottage set within an excellent location in North Hobart. The local scene has many first class restuarant's within walking distance. Kitchen is well equipped if you feel like cooking, if not then local food is easy and of good quality. The upstairs bedroom has a steep staircase, but well worth the effort if you can make it! The owners run a professional establishment and were extremely helpful which made our stay even better. Many thanks."
