This recently renovated cottage is a great place to relax and unwind while watching the dolphins/whales swim by. Located right on the beach with accommodation to sleep 6 people.
Ideal getaway for 3 couples or a small family - with bathroom and ensuite. There are 2 toilets and 2 showers plus an outside shower for those sandy feet. A fully equipped kitchen with large fridge /freezer and bar fridge plus an outdoor deck and barbeque area to die for. Just sit back with a book or swim, surf, ski or fish. All this is available right on your door step.
There is a flat screen TV and DVD player in the loungeroom and lots of games and books to enjoy.
The cottage is located at Long Beach which is 7 mins drive to Batemans Bay close enough to restaurants, shopping & cafés or far enough to be away from the crowded beaches.
Long Beach is over a mile long in the Eurobodalla shire and is 3 mins to Malony’s beach where there is a great café/takeaway and cellars.
This rate includes a fully furnished property, nothing to bring down with you except your linen, food and beverages. The rate also includes the cleaning bill.

The 4 of us (2 adults + 2 kids) loved spending a week here. Perfect set up with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms plus 2 living areas. And that's just inside! Outside there is a fantastic deck, BBQ where we ate every meal and a huge grassy area where we enjoyed a few games of badminton, croquet and velcro catch & ball (all provided). It was so easy to duck into town for supplies but still maintain the escape that we were looking for. Listening to the waves right on our back doorstep was heaven! We can't wait to return - thanks so much!

What a stunning location! We LOVED the casual beach cottage with the REALLY well stocked kitchen! What a great place to stay! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great outdoors getaway! We spent all our time on the deck and at the beach - simply brilliant! If you are looking for 5 star accommodation this isn't the place - but if you want outdoors, relaxation and a small house which means less cleaning at the end then book this place today!

The Shack is great - we stayed there over Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our little boy just loved being in the ocean and having the house so close to the beach was just fantastic. We went swimming everyday and relaxed out on the decking each night - we really didn't want to leave.

"The Shack" is a modest, comfortable and perfectly situated beach cottage - it really is only about 50 metres to the waves. At night with windows open you can hear the waves rolling in. We had a very relaxing time here. The owners were easy to deal with and had made "The Shack" most welcoming.

My husband and I stayed at 'The Shack' for our first wedding anniversary and it couldn't have been better. Only a short drive from Bateman's Bay it was very easy to get to yet offered a peaceful, private getaway. The information from the owners ahead of our stay was excellent-directions, key access etc all provided in a timely and professional manner.
Waking up to the sound of the waves and having breakfast on the deck overlooking the ocean was just spectacular. Being so close to the beach (not even a road to cross) was just amazing and very conducive to walking on the beach or spending time in the water. The area have a really friendly yet unobtrusive atmosphere.
The house has everything you need and has obviously been set up with real consideration, especially for those who like to self cater. We particularly loved the wood-fired BBQ! It was extremely clean, comfortable and very intviting- for both summer and winter. I would definitely choose to stay at the Shack again and cannot emphasise enough its fantastic location and the care taken in its set up as a holiday home.

A fantastic location lovely and quiet, all you can hear are the waves breaking. We really enjoyed our stay. The view of the bay is outstanding. The proximity to the beach is fantastic, definitely suitable for children. The house was clean, there was heating in every room so it will not be a problem staying also in Winter. My wife and myself had a very relaxing time and we would like to go back again if we travel to the south. This property has everything you need for a lovely break.Communication with the owner was excellent. Totally recommended.
