Description

Luxury beds ensure a good nights sleep. We have 1 King and 2 Queen size beds.

Each room has full ensuite, remote TV, bar fridge, ceiling fans and air-conditioning.
High ceilings and verandah around entire house ensures cool living in the tropics with plenty of shade available.

Private exit and entry door from each room enables guests to come and go without disturbing others, plus lockable for security of any valuables. You also have your own table & chairs outside each room.

Full hot breakfast is served either in dining room, alfresco by the pool or outside your room.

Guest lounge has full size pool table with adjoining bar area. The main lounge is also for your use if you would like to hire a DVD or have a quiet read away from others.
Tea making facilities plus BBQ with crockery supplied if you grab a takeaway meal.

Pool with rainforest backdrop plus lights for swimming on those beautiful balmy nights. Pool towels supplied.

Location

MISSION BEACH (Wongaling Beach is one of 4 beach areas) is approx 1.5 hours drive south of Cairns or 2.5 hours north of Townsville. Travelling south FROM CAIRNS use Bruce Highway (directions will say to Townsville) travel approx 1 hour and reach Innisfail, stay on Bruce Highway, approx another 20 minutes see turnoff to Mission Beach on left at El Arish. 10 mins later after driving thru rainforest you will pass Hardware Store etc and see sign to Wongaling Beach, Cassowary Drive, turn right then approx 4 kms you will come to shopping centre and Mission Beach Resort. Turn left into Wongaling Beach Road then first street on left Coolabah Street (Blarneys Restaurant on corner) then 2nd street on left is Spurwood Close and Tropical Escape B&B is first house on the right.
Travelling north FROM TOWNSVILLE Bruce Highway to Tully, 3 kms from Tully turnoff to right to Mission Beach, stay on same road until you get to Wongaling Shopping Centre, turn right into Wongaling Beach Road, left first street on left, Coolabah Street (Blarneys Restaurant on corner) then 2nd street on left is Spurwood Close. Tropical Escape B&B is first house on right.
(If you fly to Cairns and don’t hire a car you can arrange a bus transfer from airport which will bring you to our door, however, this is only available between certain hours and MUST be prebooked in advance. Please contact us for further details if you wish to avail this service). McCaffertys (Greyhound) coaches also come to Mission Beach, please advise us if you are coming by coach for further assistance.
