THE COTTAGE
Bermagui is a small seaside town with an excellent year round temperate climate. It is the home of deep sea game fishing made famous by Zane Grey and the unspoiled beauty of its waterways and beaches is renowned as are the hinterland forests for days away from the sea.
Bermagui has most facilities and they are open 7 days a week including the 18 hole golf course, lawn bowling, tennis and croquet clubs as well as a Surf Lifesaving Club & Mountain Bike Track.
Bermagui is close to Canberra, Albury/Wodonga and the ski fields. we have wineries, various galleries, art & music, a variety of attractions close at hand. The drive to Sydney is a comfortable 5 hours and Melbourne is about 7 to 8 hours away.

Superb location and remarkable house. Beautiful beaches are just a few minutes walk. Privacy, comfort, closeness to the ocean and nature...Could not be better. We have spent beautiful 3 days there and already are planning our next trip. Highly recommended!!!

This is the quintessential beach house in a beautiful place. Fabulous views with great accommodation, walk to the beach, laze in the hammock. We don't want anyone else to go there though so we can keep it for ourselves!

We loved staying here, it was so beautiful. The beds were so soft and I wish I didn't have to leave. The main thing I liked was how all the rooms were decorated with sea things. Later we saw rabbits in the garden. They looked so cute. I enjoyed the stay and would like to come again. from Sanya 9 yo Thank you

A lovely 4 day break at the beach house. A great base from which to explore the South Coast.
We enjoyed coming back to the house each day, everything we needed was here. Really enjoyed Mimosa Winery, Ill Passagio Restaurant at the Wharf and Cream Patisserie.

Thank you very much for sharing your little piece of heaven
with us. The house is perfect and the view ..... well what can I say! Much
of our time was spent just savoring that view. The visiting wildlife
provided continuous interest ..... loved the bunnies and the blue wrens and
their persistent search for their friends in the window. The beach and the
shells rejuvenated our souls.
We only had 2 disappointments - no whales and no man-in-the-hammock (as seen
in the advertising)! We were sure he would be bringing us our drinks each
evening and at our beck and call throughout the day!
All in all, a perfect break and opportunity to recharge. We both
fell ready to face the real world again and have talked about a return visit
in the future.

Great location and comfortable beach house for a quick getaway. Booking the property was no trouble at all, Jen was an absolute delight! Once there, it was lovely to mingle with the locals who were extremely friendly and always happy to have a chat. All in all a great time away.

I am freelance videographer and I went down to the Bermagui Beach House to get some work done. Although it was too cold for swimming the beach house is warm and cosy, there is a host of local food and wine, the views are spectacular and the comfortable amenities make for a very restful stay. It was hard to leave at the end of my week in Bermagui and I really missed being there when I got back to the city.

Perfect location, with wonderful views of the beach and the lagoon with lots of water birds and sea eagles. The house is very comfortable and functional. I love to cook and the kitchen had good quality pots and pans and sharp knives. With fresh fish available every day at the Blue Wave at the harbor and local oysters from Smithies there is every incentive to eat in and watch the glorious views from the dinning room table or from the table on the deck. Even with the week of rain we had a lovely stay and I look forward to coming back.

Absolutely loved our stay at Bermagui Beach House. The house was warm, inviting and very well equipped. There were 5 adults staying and we all felt very comfortable and relaxed. The beds in particular are very comfy. The location was wonderful, quiet but very close to the township. The views from the lounge and deck were just beautiful, you could just watch the view all day. Bermagui Beach House is a wonderful place to stay and I look forward to staying there again.

We have 2 children aged 7 and 5 and this house was fantastic for all of us. Fabulous views, eclectic and comfortably homey living spaces, warm, good cooking facilities, lovely bike ride to shops, close to Mtn Bike track, no roads to cross to beaches, binoculars for boats and birds, comfy beds in beautiful bedrooms, great shower, and plenty of places to explore only short distances away.

Truly amazing beach view, the photo on the website is the view you get from the house. Loved walking every day on the two beaches only a couple of minutes walk away. As a couple the house had everything we were looking for. The local information provided was fantastic - great tips on where to get a good coffee or have dinner. The balcony of the Horseshoe Bay Hotel in Bermagui is a great place to have a drink, pub lunch and take in the water view. Bermagui is a great place to relax and feel like you are away from it all.

Top quality location, newly renovated and attractive funky beach house. Was amazed to be able to see the whales from the comfort of our dining/lounge room. Couldnt be much closer to the beach, approximately 80 metres walk with uninterupted views. Good fishing from the beach and rocks.Will definately stay again.
