Relax - enjoy - drift away - untroubled by the busy pace of life at our seaside retreat. Indulge yourself whilst in this elevated cottage - your eyes and ears are nurtured - rolling waves, dolphins and whales, sea eagles, pelicans, black swans headline the parade of natures treats.
We face south looking over Mooreheads Beach, at the end of the beach is the harbour entrance dotted with trawlers and fishing boats, after dark the view remains, changing to the twinkling lights of the town, the harbour and the boats. The beach house has a modern well equipped kitchen, open plan living with hard-wood floors, opening onto a deck with a view you can reach out and touch. Whales are plentiful from June to October. The Humpback can be seen migrating North from May to August and South from September to December. Southern right whales can be seen calving May through November. Dolphin species such as the Bottlenose, Common and Irrawaddy can be seen year round. Casual whale sightings are common from the living areas and deck of Bermagui Beach House.
The Beach House sleeps a maximum of 7 in 3 bedrooms, comprising:
*Master Bedroom with Queen Sleigh Bed & en-suite & day bed
*2nd bedroom with Double size Queen Anne antique bed
*3rd bedroom has two single beds.
Bermagui has remained a quaint seaside town famous for its whale watching, deep sea fishing, surfing, boating, not to mention the natural beauty of its waterways, beaches and hinterland forests. With surfing beaches, lagoons and coastal wilderness it's the perfect setting for water sports, hiking, mountain biking and much more.
Although private, the beach house is only three minutes drive to Bermagui Township which hosts great restaurants and eateries; be sure to visit 'Cream' our fabulous Patisserie, 'Il Passagio' Italian restaurant, 'Horse & Camel' Wine Bar and a host of other cafes, galleries and good old fashioned fish'n'chiperies. 'The Country Club' boasts an 18 hole golf course, lawn bowls, tennis and croquet. Bermagui also has a surf life saving club; surfing lessons are available as well as horse riding on the beach or through the forest.

Or you may choose to stay in, using the fully equipped modern kitchen to take advantage of the abundant fresh seafood and local produce that is available. If you'd rather not drive there is also a ten minute scenic trail to local shops.

Also within walking distance, are a small supermarket and newsagent, an excellent fresh fruit and vegetable shop, a gift shop and coffee shop/cafe. The doctor, the vet and a beautician!! are all within walking distance.
Bermagui is a small seaside town with an excellent year round temperate climate. It is the home of deep sea game fishing made famous by Zane Grey and the unspoiled beauty of its waterways and beaches is renowned as are the hinterland forests for days away from the sea.
Bermagui has most facilities and they are open 7 days a week. There is an excellent 18 hole golf course and there are also bowling, tennis and croquet clubs as well as a Surf Lifesaving Club & a new Mountain Bike Track.
Bermagui also boasts that it is close to Canberra, ski fields, galleries, art & music so there is a variety of attractions close at hand.
The drive to Sydney is a comfortable 5 hours and Melbourne is about 7 to 8 hours away.
