Description
The Beach House is a bright & very comftable 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home which sleeps 8 people. ( Maximum 6 adults, or a combination of adults and children making up 8 people) It is fully self contained with all the comforts of home. There is a secure backyard with a BBQ, outdoor setting & plenty of room to relax, or for the kids to play. In the front yard there is an outdoor shower with hot & cold water which is great to use after a day at the beach.
A heat & glo gas log fire, as well as an electric slim line panel heater for those cold wintery days, & 3 airconditioners, plus 3 ceiling fans to keep you cool in summer.
The fully equiped kitchen with dishwasher overlooks the dining table which seats 8 people, which also has a sofa couch for extra relaxing space.
The lounge room has 2 couches, an LCD TV, & DVD player. The main bedroom has an ensuite with a toilet,a reverse cycle airconditioner & an LCD TV. The 3rd bedroom has an LCD TV, DVD player & Playstation 2, & a reverse cycle airconditioner. The main bathroom has a large corner bath with a shower, vanity & plenty of cupboard space.
Please note that this property is not suitable for Schoolies, or party groups.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
Bedroom 1 - Queen sized bed / ensuite.
Bedroom 2 - Queen sized bed.
Bedroom 3 - Trio bunk - double bed on bottom / single on top, + a single bed.
All bedrooms have wardrobes.
All beds have a mattress protector, pillows with pillow protectors, an uncovered doona, & an extra blanket.
You can choose to bring your own sheets,doona covers, & pillow cases, or we can make up the beds with our linen for $25.00 per QB / DB, & $20.00 per SB.
PLS NOTE: If you are supplying your own linen, a queen size doona cover is needed for the double bed.
Guests supply their own towels.
LOCATION
The Beach house is located in Ocean Grove, which is 25 minutes from Geelong, & about 75 minutes from Melbourne.
A couple of minutes in the car to the beach, which has a fabulous cafe 'The Cheeky Cow' across the road. Around the corner is the local milkbar, for snacks & the paper. A short drive to the main patrolled beach, which is close to the main st, Ocean Grove.
There is a choice of 2 shopping areas -
1 minute drive to a variety of shops, including Safeway, bottle shop, pizza,newsagency, butcher & chemist.
5 minute drive to the main st in OG, shops, cafes & Coles.
Little over 5 minutes drive will have you at Barwon Heads, plenty of restaurants & cafes, browse through the gift shops, & check out Tonic surf shop.
15 minutes drive will get you to Queenscliff, antique shops, cafes, & the Queenscliff harbour, & the 360deg restaurant & viewing platform.
