TiWilla, was built in 1938 as a rural holiday cottage for a working Balmain family. It still retains that semi rural feel today, handily located to all forms of transport yet has a secluded and relaxing atmosphere. It sits on a large block in complete privacy and distance from the neighbors so you never get that hemmed in feel so often found with other holiday houses in the Blue Mountains. It is positioned wonderfully on a raised north facing block with a great aspect and is sun filled all day (important in the Blue Mountains!) and is light and airy as a result.
Newly renovated with all original features restored, re-functionised and/or re-interpreted.
At night it becomes a cosy retreat with its log fire, full chef`s kitchen and fun retro bar. Heating is provided by eco electric panels, gas heater, the log fire (which can warm the whole house) and heated bathroom floor.
Fun House Perfect for 1 or 2 couples
In essence TiWilla is the perfect retreat for couples or for smaller gatherings of up to two couples or a family of 4. There are 2 bedrooms both with beautifully comfortable queen beds and the main bedroom has an occasional bed/settee as well. The living room also features a very comfortable queen sized pull out sofa bed enabling another couple to squeeze in (sleeping up to 7) if need be.
The large sun-filled, totally private and wind free covered deck is great for entertaining (even on a sunny winters day!) with 2 bbq choices (wood fired or gas). A fifteen minute level walk to town and the location of the house, so close to all the main attractions and bushwalks makes it a great base from which to explore the locality.
Priced from $130 per night for 2 people ( PRICE INCLUDES CLEANING and WiFi ), we have endeavored to make it as affordable as can be. Lovely linen is available for a reasonable extra cost.
PLEASE NOTE: Contrary to how it looks on the map and in response to all enquiries, this property is NOT situated directly on the highway or railway and is indeed not affected by the noise of either but IS very handily located near to both!!

Enjoy a massage and unwind by the log fire or enjoy a glass of wine on the deck afterwards for a truly rejuvenating experience.

Prices
There is no minimum night stay at TiWilla if it is from Sunday to Friday and you can always send an enquiry for a one night stay on the weekend if you can see that it is vacant on the weekend. The minimum tariff for one nights stay is $200.
