...we didn't name it this, the name goes back over a hundred years, however, those early settlers got it right.
Our property is on the Promised Land Loop Road, ten kms from the beautiful township of Bellingen, and is on eight manicured acres with views to the Dorrigo escarpment.
Your accommodation here is in a private cabin with mountain views and consists of three rooms, it is separated from the main house by a garden and 4 car carport. Your bedroom has two king size single beds with hotel quality linen and a built in wardrobe. The bathroom is exclusively yours, plus you have your own sitting room with lounge, LED television, table and chairs, jug and toaster and a fridge which will include the makings of a great continental breakfast. The whole area is screened so you can leave all the doors open and enjoy the breeze. With mountains, sea, golf courses and the popular Gleniffer Hall for weddings and functions this is an ideal location.
We are also "dog friendly" with 3 acres of our home paddock fenced for small dogs. Please talk to us about your dog when requesting a booking.
You're welcome to enjoy our pool, or better still walk 200 metres to the beautiful Never Never River where you can bathe in the steady flowing crystal clear water.
As for Bellingen, expect a small country town with a focus on creativity and performing arts. We are home to an annual Music Festival featuring classical music at its best, the Bellingen Jazz Festival, a Readers & Writers Festival and Camp Creative where over 1200 people gather each January for 5 days of concentrated learning. Plus there is of course, the Organic Markets every 2nd week and the monthly Community Markets. The town itself is extremely friendly and has a great casual cafe "buzz" about it.
For "foodies" we are proud to have two nationally awarded restaurants in the vicinity. “No 2 Oak Street” with 2 'Hats' featuring modern Australian cuisine and “Flooded Gums Restaurant” at the beautiful Bonville Golf Resort with 1 'Hat'.
There's lots to do in the area and we'll be happy to help you with information to make your stay as relaxing or energetic as you like.

Our family (including our dog) had a wonderful time.
The hosts Susie, Allan and Dino (their dog) did a fantastic job of making us welcome.
The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the well fenced property is excellently manicured.
It is close to Never Never Creek so it is easy to leave the car there and go on an adventure, or alternatively you are only 10 mins drive from the fantastic cafe's restaurants and shops of Bellingen.
Golfers should ask Allan about the 115m challenge.

This lovely B & B completely surpassed our expectations!
From the second we arrived we felt welcome, even by their poodle, nothing was too much trouble! If only all pet friendly B & B/hotels could be this good! Exquisite property, immaculately maintained! Get ready to be spoilt with homemade sourdough bread & yoghurt. Tux our poodle loved the promised land, loved romping around this gorgeous totally fenced and safe property! Plus there is so much to do & see around this gorgeous part of Australia, from dog friendly beaches to shopping, eating and exploring!
