Our family friendly house is a quick stroll to the beach (400m), pub, playground & store/cafe.
SPACIOUS HOME with comfy modern furnishings and a brilliant view over the ocean and surrounding bushland.
LIVING area is generous and comfortable, featuring a large couch perfect for curling up on and reading the paper or watching a DVD on the flat screen TV. There is a second living area with TV and DVD which provides another space for the kids to play. We have perfect television reception.
KITCHEN is open plan with the dining and living area for easy entertaining. A 6 seater table for dining, and a fully equipped kitchen should meet all your cooking needs.
COMFORT levels are high with a split system that will heat and cool the whole house
RELAX while you watch the waves from the wrap around deck, if you get tired of watching local wildlife and the bush surroundings there is an extensive selection of books and DVDs and an iPod docking station to really help you unwind. There is a slow combustion fire for a little romance on those chilly evenings.
PLENTY OF ROOM TO PLAY on our outdoor deck. The deck is surrounded by a flat block and an established garden and shaded by trees with great views of the the water and surrounding bushland. There is an outdoor setting for 6 and a BBQ on the deck.
COOL DOWN or just rinse off the sand in the outdoor shower with both hot and cold taps - ENJOY!
CAR SPACE in Wye is very rare, but we have 3 car spaces right near the front door which makes it easy to have more than one family stay and NO carrying bags up steep steps!
BATHROOMS are brand new, clean and spacious! There are 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets. One bathroom has a shower over a bath, the other has a shower. There are laundry facilities in one of the bathrooms.
BEDROOMS have new hotel standard pillow top mattresses in all three bedrooms.
-Main bedroom has 1QB with huge wardrobes
-Second bedroom has a 1DB and wardrobe
-Third bedroom has two sets of bunks
LINEN and towels are supplied at a cost of $25pp – just bring your beach towels.
FAMILY FRIENDLY for guests with young children. You’ll be glad to hear that there are no stairs inside and there is a port-a-cot and high chair provided.
RESTRICTION APPLY - Smoking is not allowed inside the house. No pets are allowed.
GROCERY SUPPLIES, newpapers and great coffee are available at the Wye General Store. For larger supermarkets, Lorne is 15 minutes away on the Great Ocean Road and Apollo Bay is 25 minutes in the other direction. In these picture-perfect seaside towns you'll find a range of restaurants, cafes, homeware and clothing stores and cinemas. Fresh seafood is available on the pier at both towns.
