Guest Reviews

  • "We enjoyed our time at the property and would probably stay there again. The only part we didn't like was that there is only one bathroom ... The location is great - close to Trams, brilliant cafes, restaraunts and shops are only a couple of blocks away. "

  • "Great position - close to North Carlton, trams etc. The house was clean and welcoming although the key was hard to find. The garden was a mess and it is dark inside - several of the lights were not working. The bedrooms at the front are noisy from traffic. In general a lovely house needing some attention then it would be worth the cost."

  • "While it is fantastically located, it is actually a very dark property and really quite dated. "

  • "The cottage really suited our group - 2 adults and 4 teenagers. 3 big bedrooms and a large bathroom. Lots of space, very homely and rates were reasonable. The cottage retained its heritage feel, but with all the mod cons (we stayed in springtime). Very close walk to Lygon Street cafes and we walked to Brunswick (20 mins). Easy, safe tram into the city. Owners very accommodating and helpful with hints about the city. Highly recoommended."

  • "It was great to experience staying in Lygon St to enjoy all it has to offer - restaurants, book stores, etc - something for everyone. The trams ran regularly to Melbourne City. The house for cosy and accommodated 6 women for 3 nights of fun. The house was a little on the dark side during the day but that's just me as I love light!"

The house was clean & tidy and provided all facilities including washing machine, dryer and heater. We would have no hesitation in recommending this house to our friends and family."
