The unit is on the ground floor is newly renovated, has 2 good sized bedrooms and is within easy walking distance to Bar Beach, town, Merimbula Lake and Spencer Park. It is situated on sought after Lake street and only a small strip of bushland separates the house and unit from beautiful Merimbula Lake. This fresh,clean, level unit is in a fantastic, sheltered location on Long Point. people are pleasantly surprised when they arrive.
Privacy is obtained because you have your own space and garden; outdoor seating, BBQ, clothes line and off street parking for one car. The bedrooms and living area have been renovated in September 2012 and this is a brand new listing. There are very few budget places available on Long Point so this is a great opportunity for you. We think this unit is perfect for couples or a few friends wanting a quiet retreat at an affordable price.
The carpet, blinds, leather lounges, queen bed and built in robe are all new and the unit has been newly painted throughout and is light and airy.
We love our home and convenient location and we are happy to offer our downstairs, fully self contained unit to those of you who prefer the convenience of your own kitchen and laundry and a homely feel rather than the limitations of a motel room.
Peter and I have previously owned 2 successful rental properties at Pambula Beach and we have always had positive comments from our guests.
This is a NEW listing with CHEAP rates so we can compete, not because the unit is inferior, you will be pleasantly surprised when you see it. Inspections welcome. As an added incentive tea/coffee, washing powder and many extras will be provided free of charge during 2013.

Merimbula Lake is just across the road and a short downhill walk on a bush track.
Views of the lake are filtered by the trees between the unit and the lake.
It takes us less than 10mins to walk to Bar Beach, one of the most popular and sheltered swimming spots at Merimbula. It has a little kiosk that has great coffee and food during the summer months. Parking is always at a premium there so being able to walk from the unit is so convenient.
Spencer Park, an even shorter walk away, and is set on the lakeside It has a play park, sandy tidal areas and shady picnic tables. This is a favourite spot for mums with young children and families who like a flat grassed area to picnic or kick a ball around. It is also a place to enjoy a session of Tai Chi for Arthritis at 8.30am with the locals and visitors free of charge, ( M, W, F)
The surf beach at Short Point is only 10 mins walk. Coffee, drinks, meals and live music can be enjoyed at 'Cheeky Mango" cafe/bar which is open to the public as well as the patrons of the caravan park.
Middle Beach, also about 10mins walk in an easterly direction is a beautiful ocean beach which is often overlooked and rarely visited by many visitors and even the locals. The steps down are steep but well maintained and good to keep up your fitness level. You will be rewarded by finding a quiet place, sheltered from the southerly winds, where you can sunbake or walk a good distance around the headland over the rocks to get awesome photos of our pristine coastline.
Whip birds, bellbirds, wattle birds, kookaburras, wrens, bower birds, parrots, gang gangs, pigeons and many others frequent the garden and bush surrounding the unit.
A wallaby and possums are about at night, but not often seen or heard.

Wildlife sanctuary, Magic Mountain - water slides and adventure park, Ten Pin Bowling and games at Top Fun, Twin Cinema , hire boats, whale watching, bush walks, cycle tracks, wetland reserve, paintball, shopping, clubs and entertainment, there are plenty of activities to make your holiday here worthwhile.
