Description
Gerroa has a reputation as a special place for good reason and Coastal Bliss is perfectly placed to take advantage of everything Gerroa has to offer. The ocean is literally across the road and the view from the living room feed the senses and rejuvenate the soul.
Moving outside there are endless choices of things to do - walk along Seven Mile Beach National Park to the bird sanctuary, paddle up Crooked River - learn to Surf at the local surf school- swim, snorkel, take a dip in the ocean - or count the starfish in the rock pools.
Our favourite.... laze around on the balcony - soaking in the views and breathing the sweet air.
Regular passers by are Sea Eagles - Pelicans - Seals - Dolphins & if it's that time of year, Whales.
A pair of binoculars is on site but we recommend to BYO if you can - to avoid any squabbling.
THE OCEAN:
... across the road and the views from the balcony - totally dreamy. To get to the beach - cross the road - then you can wander along the grass verge for a pleasant 2 minute walk to Little Beach, or if it's low tide you can walk straight down to the rocky shore and 'fossick' your way to the sand. 'Little Beach' which is at the northern end of Seven Mile Beach is a very safe & perfect beach for children and people like me who don't like big waves. Seven Mile Beach is part of the National Park and constitutes the view from Coastal Bliss - nothing but Ocean, Sky & rolling deep green hills surrounding Coolangatta & Cambewarra Mountain. Sea Eagles, Dolphins, the occasional Seal and pods of Whales when they're heading up or down the coast.
CONTEMPORARY STYLE - EASY LIVING:
Relax in style among the many Original Art Works throughout the house.
The Kitchen is complete with Concrete Bench tops, Black Bean cupboards and Induction cook top. The pantry hides an alcove with Coffee /Tea making, Toaster & Microwave. The stereo is iPhone & Android compatible.
3 X BEDROOMS: Our beds are fitted with Quality Linen plus extra pillows for added comfort.
2 X Bedrooms have Queen size beds. The 3rd Bedroom comfortably sleeps 3 x Children or 2 X Adults. It has 2 x Single Beds, one with Trundle. This room also serves as a sunny second living or play space for children.
BATHROOMS:
There are two full bathrooms, one with deep bath. Bathroom toiletries are supplied.
BASIC COOKING SUPPLIES:
A variety of teas & plunger coffee is supplied. If you crave a real espresso, the fabulous Blue Swimmer Cafe / Restaurant is a pleasant walk up the road and open for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. Wednesdays - Sundays.
The pantry is stocked with an extensive range cooking supplies, such as, oils, herbs, spices & condiments. Just bring your fresh food.

MUSIC - ART - LITERATURE
A great little stereo here has CD & dock, apple / android compatible. And we have a good selection of DVD's & CD's. The library is stocked with a wide range of books, magazines and a few jig-saw puzzles for - rainy days.
We hope you enjoy the wonderful original artworks displayed throughout the Coastal Bliss.
BBQ: BBQ with Wok Burner and outdoor seating helps you make the most of the beautiful outdoors.
EXTRA SPACE: Garage has plenty of space to stack your beach gear.
If you want to do the tourist thing - the historical towns of Berry & Kangaroo Valley are a short drive away and are packed with quirky shops, galleries, brilliant cafes & restaurants (did I mention the wineries?), and all this.... set amongst spectacular views of this rich dairy country nestled below the coastal escarpment.
Travelling by train? We can arrange pick up at Gerringong station. We would love to have you stay so send us a message.
