The Summerhouse@Currarong

"I love this place! Currarong has to be one of my favourite places in all the world and The Summerhouse is just the icing on the cake. It was brilliant for my family. We had our family of 5 with young children, and my parents who came to stay for two nights during the week as well. It was spacious enough for all of us with the second little house which is a huge gorgeous converted garage. The sea breezes were wonderful and even during those hot summer days, we were comfortable. I love the way the house is decorated, simple, clean and comfortable with lots of added touches to give it personality and not a starfish or anchor in sight. The kitchen is a real cooks kitchen, with actual sharp knives and a everything else you'll need including a head-pot as my husband would say (a pot big enough to put your head in). We rode our bikes down to Abe's Bosom beach (2 minutes max) and the rockpool. Had the best snorkelling experience of my life off the beach one day with dolphins and huge beautiful fish in plentiful supply. We have booked again for this year and will do again and again . Cant recommend highly enough. "

"Arrived to a very ordinary house on the outside and it not until you open it up that you appreciate how well designed and fitted out it is. The additional separate rumpus/kids room is brilliant. We loved it. There were kangaroos in the neighbours yard!"

"We had a lovely time. The cottage was quaint, homely, comfortable and exactly what you would expect in a little fishing village by the sea. Kitchen was well fitted, bed was comfortable, all was clean. Take mosquito repellant! And if it's very hot, take a fan. Perfect position in town to wander down to shops and very close to the beach. We will go again."
