Anjakama House is a modern and elegantly appointed self-contained house centrally located in town and can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests.
Anjakama provides a unique style of accommodation to cater for 4 guests in the main house area while another 2 guests are enjoying the Suite. The House has one king size bedroom and another bedroom with 2 single beds. The Suite provides the second king size bedroom together with a private ensuite and sitting room.
The main entrance is highlighted by the large Edwardian leadlight door opening onto the original Baltic timber boards which also feature along the hallway connecting to the Suite. The kitchen is fully equipped with quality items, everything you need to prepare a simple snack or a full meal which you can enjoy at the magnificent hand made timber dining table. Relax on the leather lounge with a coffee or a glass of your new favourite wine from the district. A private deck at the rear is also set with table and chairs. Both of the main bedrooms are well appointed with superb king size beds, quality bedding, flat screen televisions with dvd players and ipod docks. The main bedroom for the House is adjacent to the bathroom and the second room which has two single bed ensembles, also with quality bedding and linen. The bathroom has been designed with a romantic flair and its modern fittings include a deep spa bath to indulge in and a large separate shower. The Suite is located at the front and provides a private reading area, all the bedroom fittings as described above as well as an ensuite with a large shower. Naturally made bath products, hand made soaps and thick cotton towels are provided. A split system air conditioner provides both heating and cooling for year round comfort and there are ceiling fans throughout. Private parking is available at the rear of the property.

Historical Yea was first settled in 1825 and has served a wide farming community, now being discovered by people seeking a quiet country escape. Take a walk around town following the Heritage Trail and appreciate the fine old buildings still in use. In 2011, the town was accepted into Cittaslow, the international movement for slow tourism and sustainable communities. Enjoy the growing number of establishments showcasing local produce and reviving traditional methods, both culinary and artistic. Browse through unique shops and take a drive to visit award winning boutique wineries located throughout the district. Experience the famous Yea Wetlands, home to many varied species of flora and fauna. Soak up some country life or get busy on the newest and longest Rail Trail for cycling, horse riding and walking, hire facilites available in town. The Yea Country Market is held on the first Saturday of the month at the Railway and there are other markets held regularly throughout the district.
