* Retreats By Design - "The Romantic Storybook Cottage" is ideally suited for 2 adults, the cottage sleeps 2 adults only & has a sofa bed for small children if required. We are unable to host your family pet due to the natural environment and wildlife that live on and surround our property. We thank you or understanding this
* Cottage only - $200 per night, children under 2 are FREE, 2- 14yrs - $30 each per night and over 14yrs is classed as an adult per bedding & breakfast requirements.
We are an unique picturesque romantic Bed & Breakfast and Guesthouse situated on 3 1/2 acres, with a small vineyard, a lake flourishing with bird-life & expansive 23 metre pool overlooked by a romantic storybook cottage with an open fireplace, a double deluxe spa and large sauna. If you want a relaxing time away on a wonderful property then we are it.
Minimum nights 1 for the Cottage is $200 per night - self catering. Also available are our Romantic Anniversary or Birthday Packages; which include delicious home-made meals delivered to your door, prices start from $275 per night for these packages, talk to us for more details on these packages
We are NOT a place to come and party at! Excessive alcohol is not acceptable at Retreats By Design. We are a relaxing resort to wind down and enjoy the wonderful surroundings of a Spa, a Sauna, a 23 metre pool and much more.
Due to the natural environment and wildlife that Retreats By Design is built within, we are not suitable for family pets.
The Guesthouse - Sleeping up-to 6, has 3 rooms available with 2 rooms having queen beds and a room with 2 single beds. You can enjoy a relaxing weekend with a small group of family or friends. All Guesthouse rooms are from $140 per room per night based on a 2 night stay. Guesthouse overnight stays are $150 per room, this includes all guesthouse facilities and breakfast., self catering all other meals.

A short 15 minute drive to the beautiful Mt. Eliza beaches, the trendy Frankston Pier with changing views of Port Phillip Bay, the tourist attractions are endless and right on our doorstep, should you choose to leave the property.
In fact many don't leave the property, they just relax by the pool or enjoy a sauna or even have lunch by the pool catered specifically for you or indulge with a wine whilst relaxing in a sun lounge.
We are environmentally conscious and have installed large rainwater tanks and a 40 panel 10 kilowatt solar system to power the property. We also have an Organic Kitchen Garden which supplies fresh organically grown produce for all our guests
The owners of Retreats By Design, live in the Guesthouse and manage both the Guesthouse, cottage and property. All cooking for guests is prepared in - house and delivered to your door in the cottage should you require to be catered for, this service incurs additional costs. Please discuss this with owners at time of confirmed booking
As previously mentioned we are NOT a party place. We are a relaxing resort to wind down from the stresses of life.
Due to the natural parkland that Retreats By Design is on at Nirvana Estate; and being a rural property within an environment of natural wildlife consisting of a variety of ducks, coots and water fowl on our lake, complete with rabbits, foxes and visiting seasonal bird-life; we are not suitable for family pets.
Many guests come to relax to restore from their allergies and health conditions at Retreats By Design and we offer our guests a healthy environment of accommodation within our eco - friendly retreat.
Also as Retreats By Design offers multiple rooms in our Guesthouse to a variety of guests at any one time, we are unable to cater for multiple pets from different families
So we thank you for understanding that Retreats By Design is not suitable for your family pet, as we do not have suitable accommodation for pets either inside the premises or outside in natural surroundings.

We can cater for all or only a few of your meals, all you need to do is give us a call to arrange. All meals are prepared with fresh local produce from our own Kitchen Garden or within a radius of less than 10 km's from our property.

if you just want a quiet weekend away? then you can stay with us at "The Guesthouse and join us for meals and have a room upstairs and also enjoy all the facilities of the property OR
If you want to stay alone then take "The Cottage" which is also fully self contained if you want to look after yourself. The choices are endless as you can design your own retreat!
