Casa Adagio has recently undergone a complete renovation, the result of which is a light filled, elegant yet relaxed, and comfortable, spacious home. Stunning antique furniture, light fittings, objects d’art and artwork supplied by well known Melbourne based antique dealer, Miguel Meirelles, feature throughout the house.
Every room is a feast for the eyes, with beautiful and unique furnishings and decorative items.
The outlook and position of this magnificent home makes it a perfect property for all seasons. In summer you can enjoy the solar heated swimming pool, al fresco dining on a choice of two decks or just relax and read a book on the shady front verandah. Enjoy a picnic in the spacious gardens and lawns which extend to and are surrounded by State forest, with abundant walking tracks suitable for a gentle stroll or a serious day hike.
In winter, curl up in front of the fire in the sun filled living room on comfy sofas for 10. Choices of indoor entertainment include a large HD flat screen TV with DVD player (range of DVD’s supplied), board games, books, magazines, a broad range of music supplied on the IPOD dock, or enjoy a game of billiards on a three quarter size table in the billiard room. Indulge in massages or other treatment either in Daylesford or Hepburn or at home.
The stunning French 18th century antique dining table with seating for 10 is adjacent to the fully equipped kitchen. It is the perfect setting for long lunches or dinner parties. A BBQ is also provided on one of the decks.
The property has five stylishly appointed bedrooms. Each room can be configured with a King sized bed or two long singles. Each bedroom has a distinctive colour scheme, with beautiful linen and upholstered bed heads. The main bedroom has an ensuite with a full size bath and separate shower. The remaining four bedrooms are serviced by a further two bathrooms.
Unless there is another booking arriving on the day you check out, you are welcome to enjoy the property until 4:00pm.
Children are welcome.
Please note that although this property is single story there are stairs between adjoining rooms. Guests with young children or with restricted mobility should be aware of this.
Sorry but pets are not allowed.

Sleep in!
Enjoy a late check out time of 4:00pm on Sundays (conditions apply) to have a leisurely start to the day.
Walk!
Walking tracks are at your doorstep. Enjoy a bush walk through Doctor’s Gully to Hepburn Springs or a 10 minute walk into the main street of Daylesford. For the serious walkers there is an extensive network of walking trails ranging from 1 hour to multi - day walks. Walk around the lake.
Swim!
Swim in your own heated pool, the many natural mineral springs in the area, the lake or at the Hepburn Spa complex.
Explore!
The botanic gardens, the many galleries, the many markets including Daylesford Sunday market, antique shops, Lavandula, the chocolate factory, nurseries, shops, beautiful surrounding towns, state forests...the list is endless.
Eat!
At fantastic local restaurants, and pubs, wonderful quirky cafes, or at home!
A reliable babysitter can be recommended if you want a night out without the kids.
Ride!
BYO bike or hire one in Daylesford and enjoy the many bike paths and country roads in the area. Take a trail ride on a horse with one of the experienced local operators. A great way to enjoy the local flora and fauna.
Be pampered!
Enjoy a massage or a treatment at one of the many day spas in the area. Or you can arrange for someone to come to the house.
Entertain the kids!
Eat out at kid friendly restaurants, adventure at the tangled maze, visit the chocolate factory, walk, bike ride, horse ride, mini golf, explore the garden and swim in the pool.

Golf at nearby golf clubs, Bocce in the garden, board games, billiards or cards.
