The Paradise Beach House

The house itself is an original, single storey, early 1900s fishing cottage at the foot of the hills right on beautiful Paradise Beach. The vista from every room is spectacular. Uninterrupted views of stunning Pittwater and the National Park beyond feature from every room in the house.
There are two large bedrooms. The huge master bedroom has a queen size bed. There is an original stone fireplace in this room and incredible views from the large window. The 2nd bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds and a double bed. This room boasts perfect "sleeping in" conditions being very quiet and dark until late morning - a great room for the kids! The large family bathroom adjoins these 2 bedrooms. There is a large bath. There is also a walk in robe to unpack in and feel totally at home - no suitcases cluttering up the bedrooms.
The kitchen is large and sunny, with a breakfast bar that boasts one of the best views in Sydney and all the mod cons that we are so used to.
The combined lounge dining room runs the front length of the house and has amazing views of Pittwater, Paradise Beach, the sailing boats, and the National Park beyond. With Digital Foxtel, a large DVD library, free WiFi and a very comfortable sofa there is no end to your entertainment pleasure.
The office has one of the best views in the house. This is where the large selection of board games and novels for all ages are kept. Be sure to bring a novel to "swap" from our library.
There is a fenced, grassy yard and a sunny patio area that have supreme views. There is a gas BBQ and outdoor dining facilities.

Paradise Beach

The beach has tidal flat water, soft, clean, fine sand and plenty of morning shade. There is a jetty and a fenced off tidal swimming pool. Swimming conditions are fantastic - no nasty currents, waves or undertows. Just crystal clear, flat and calm, sandy bottomed salt water.
Paradise Beach is quiet and secluded. Only the true locals know it exists, so it is never busy. The perfect beach for families with small children. Relax knowing your kids can swim and play in safety without rough water or overcrowded pools.

Fishing from one of the many jettys is highly rewarding. Flathead and Bream are the two most common fish to be caught.
Walk around the rocks and explore the little rock pools. Look for crabs and star fish.
Continue further around the rocks at low tide and you can walk to beautiful Clareville Beach. Lunch at the Clareville Beach Kiosk or simply use the public BBQs.
Enjoy one of Pittwaters best past times and charter a yacht for the day. From only $100 this is the best way to enjoy Pittwater and the Hawksbury river.

  • "Lovely location, million dollar view from patio of boats and the jetty/beach. Close access to Avalon village and ocean beach. Only a small cottage so probably suit a couple or a small family. Great restful spot. Highly recommended as good for the soul !"

  • "Is there anything more beautiful than a sunset in Sydney? Yes...staying at Paradise Beach House and enjoying a beautiful sunset over Pittwater with a glass of wine. In a last minute decision to get away for the Easter break, we searched stayz.com for last minute offers. Avalon was not something we had considered as normally we drive up to the Central Coast or down to the South Coast Considering the nightmare Easter traffic, it was a perfect solution for a quick getaway. Less than 45 minutes from North Sydney and yet once you turn off towards the Pittwater side, it feels like you are already on holidays. Paradise Beach is tucked down the bottom of a dead end road with a little beach out the front; perfect for a quick dip, a spot of fishing and a game of beach rugby. We were blessed with two days of sun where we enjoyed a BBQ and the view and two days of rain when we stayed indoors playing cards and watching the sailboats bob on the water from the window or we went into check out the quaint little shops at Avalon. We would definitely recommend Paradise Beach for anyone looking to get away from the 'burbs without having to fight traffic to get there!"

  • "We had such a great holiday at Paradise Beach House. The house is a perfect holiday base, well equipped & comfortable. The front deck is the place for a barbie overlooking the beach straight across the road. Avalon surf beach is only a short drive & there's plenty of local shops for picking up food & drinks."

  • "Great accomodation and facility for the entire family.Fantastic safe harbor beach where the children could be seen from the out-door area. Quiet and relaxing. Will be returning in the future and recommending to other family and friends."

  • "We came all that way to stay in the Beach House and had a marvelous time. A year has passed by and we have been reminising, we loved the house and all its surroundings set in a marvelous location. We also enjoyed the beautiful sunsets sat out on the balcony enjoying a bottle of ozi 'sea breeze'. The house is well equiped and spacious with everything that is required for a most relaxing time. "

  • "Our stay at The Paradise Beach House was wonderful - what a cute quaint place. My husband and I had such a relaxing and comfortable stay. The master bedroom is spacious with a window facing the water. The deck is fantastic to sit on and watch the sailing boats pass by. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances, plates, cups etc. to make your stay a memorable one. The sand is a few steps away from the property with a lovely area for swimming. We loved it so much that we have already made our next booking. Thanks Naomi for all your care. Kind regards, Sharon"

  • "The cutest little cottage, the prettiest little beach, the nicest surroundings in the most perfect location. The Paradise Beach House was the ideal spot for my family and I to stay in the lead up to my wedding. It's quiet and secluded but still so close to everything. We enjoyed cocktails on the deck as the sun set over Pittwater. This little house slept all 6 of us very comfortably."
    Bree, January 2009

  • "The Paradsie Beach House was a wonderful spot - everything we expected it to be and more. The location was perfect with a fantastic swimming spot for the kids (big and small)literally across the road. A perfect holiday spot as it has a little bit of everything wit the shops, cafes, and surf just minutes up the road and the house was kitted out with everything we needed. Many thanks - we're looking forward to coming back!"
