This property certainly exceeded our expectations. The views are exceptional. We had relaxing breakfasts on the decking watching the ever changing scenery and bird spotting, and cosy evenings around the wood heater. The house has the perfect layout for two couples. It is well equipped - there was everything we needed. Easy access for day trips to the Prom, Walkerville, Inverloch and of course the lighthouse. It was such a treat for us city dwellers and our visitors from the UK to have 75 acres all to ourselves. We will definitely recommend to others and hope to return again soon ourselves. Thanks!

We love Shellback! What an amazing tranquil and stunning property. The house had everything we could have needed and more. We enjoyed curling up in front of the fire in the evening and taking long walks around the property and surrounding beaches during our stay. A very memorable time for our family. Thank you Fleur! We will definitely be back :)

What a find!
Shellback was the perfect place to take our overseas guests.The quiet country road approach, the farm gate, and the meandering track coaxing us to the house and revealing that incredible vista across the Prom. Our guests were so excited just pulling up out the front.
The nearby beaches were beautiful and perfect for the kids. Shallow and safe for the little ones, but with rock caves which the bigger kids (and the dads) just loved exploring.
We enjoyed a spectacular early evening walk around the property where we soaked up the last of the sun, the solitude, and the view. We were joined by wildlife of all shapes and sizes - wombats, kangaroos, eagles. It was a real hit!
The house is very comfortable and works well with the living zone in the middle. Everything we needed was there, cricket set, kids toys, BBQ and tools, even the condiments we meant to bring but had forgotten. Fleur, the manager, seems to have thought of everything. She is incredibly well organised and accommodating and certainly facilitated a seamless stay for us.
We will definitely be back, but for longer next time!

Shellback is a wonderful surprise when you arrive which would easily cater for friends or families. It was one of the most comfortable houses I have stayed in, and plan to return. Definitely recommended.

Fantastic destination for secluded romantic getaway. Private yet close to beaches, beautiful Walkerville Sth only a 5 minute drive away. Perfectly located for day trip to the prom. Wonderfully outfitted and furnished house with amazing view. Cannot recommend enough.

Our family absolutely enjoyed staying at this property - it truly felt like 'our' home and all was perfect. Views were exceptional, the property has all the necessary comforts and our kids had smiles for days just enjoying the vast space and fresh air. Location wise... heaps nearby to see and do - a great stay!
