Stay at Dog-on-Beach House AND you'll have WAGGING TALES!!! (Minimum stay - 2 nights)
Offering clean, comfortable and relaxing accommodation for up to 5 adults (2 extra children OK with owners approval).Limit 2 small dogs or 1 medium/large dog. The cottage captures the sea breezes & shade in summer and warm sun in brief winter months. Centrally located with both Jimmy's Beach (Port Stephens) and the main surf beach, an easy 5 minutes stroll & shopping village - offering full facilities & al-fresco cafes, just 3 minutes walk. Hawks Nest is a 'NATURALLY AMAZING' area - CRYSTAL CLEAR SURF BEACH & sandhills, calm blue PORT STEPHENS bay, River & Myall Lakes System. DOLPHINS, KOALAS & KANGAROOS. Ferry & Dolphin Watch cruises run daily across to Nelson Bay.
Less than 2 HOURS DRIVE NORTH of SYDNEY, Hawks Nest/Tea Gardens is great for swimming,boating, cycling, golfing, fishing, diving, bush-walking (Myall Lakes National Park & Forestry areas).
Also great base for day trips to Hunter Valley, Barrington Tops, Myall Lakes & Foster/Seal Rocks areas.

HOUSE DESCRIPTION

Main bedroom has a queen size bed, second bedroom 3 single beds. An outside rumpus/bunk room offers a set of double bunks with adjoining 2nd toilet. The spacious kitchen/dining/lounge has ceiling to floor glass windows & opens out onto both the front and rear verandas has a colour T.V., cd & dvd player . Pets are welcome indoors, but not on beds or lounges. If they are "lounge friendly" please bring your own coverings!.
Kitchen is fully equipped, including a microwave, fans & heater. Large bright bathroom includes toilet & vanity, shower recess with a puddle bath plus an automatic washing machine & tub. A carport & covered patio with gas BBQ & outdoor setting adjoin the cottage. The grassed, fenced yard has a beach shower. Quilts are provided on all beds - extra blankets also provided. Please read -WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING.

"The accommodation is basic, but it lacks nothing. It very comfortably accommodated us, two couples and Mutkey the dog. Everything was clean, tidy and in working order. The backyard is kept tidy and clean (by Phil, who we met). Really nothing to complain about! the surroundings? Just great!!. short walk to "Flag" beach with a great bunch of lifesavers. Further to the left and right, National Park beaches. Just the best way to spend "sun" hours. Night time?... Dinner at a couple of un-spoiled restaurants in Hawks Nest and sister town Tea Gardens. We also had a bit of itchy feet, and drove to Foster, New Castle, Swan Bay (just picture perfect location!!), Nelson Bay, Anna Bay, etc.. Really a relaxing location. Just Just Lovely. Bruno"
